Clamu is a pearl oyster, said by Template:Data:Links to be the largest oyster held in captivity. She only appeared in the episode "The Smoking Peanut." Her sounds are provided by Frank Welker.
Description
Clamu is a dark purple pearl oyster with periwinkle lips. She has a pink-red tongue. She also has some dark purple spots on her shell.
Biography
Clamu is a pearl oyster at the Bikini Bottom Zoo who regularly spits a pearl 100 feet into the air.
In the episode "The Smoking Peanut," SpongeBob came to the Zoo and went to her exhibit. Clamu was sleeping. SpongeBob threw a sea peanut at Clamu, causing her to wake up and start wailing. She also threw one of her trainers, Joe, out of the Oyster Stadium, where she was held. Her crying could be heard around the world, even on the surface world. SpongeBob feels guilty of making Clamu feel so bad until it was revealed that the person who caused her distress was Template:Data:Links, who stole her egg, believing it to be free to take on Free Day. Fortunately, a zoopkeeper reclaims the egg and gives it back to Clamu. The egg then hatches, officially making her a mother. The citizens then angrily throw peanuts at Mr. Krabs for stealing the baby clam, much to his dismay.
Personality
Clamu is emotional when her baby was stolen. Though, when unprovoked, she is calm and known to do tricks as mentioned in "The Smoking Peanut."
