The commissioner is a character who appears in the episode "What's Eating Patrick?"

Description

He is an aquamarine fish who wears a light purple suit and black hat with a purple stripe.

Role in series

"Shuffleboarding"

The police commissioner is heard on the other end of the phone at the hospital. He tells Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy that he needs them to be celebrity contestants at the Bikini Bottom Shuffleboarding Competition.

"What's Eating Patrick?"

He first appears in a flashback where Mr. Krabs greases a wheel of his boatmobile, which he thanks him for before driving off. He also appears in a flashback to a past year's Founders Day where he gives the eating contest belt to Oswald McNulty for winning that year's Krabby Patty eating contest. Later, he gives the belt to Patrick for winning the current year's contest, but Patrick says he does not want it as it does not fit him.
