Synopsis

This is the third time SpongeBob watches a scary movie. The first was in the episode Krab Borg and the second was in the episode Planet of the Jellyfish.
This episode aired in Greece on July 1, 2013, before it will air in the USA.

Rated S for Scary is a parody/reference to real life ratings, NC-17/R.
Fisherman 2 is a parody of the film Night of the Living Dead 2 which is scary for little guppies.
The part when Spongebob thinks the villan is after him is just like the part in the book "Diary of a Wimpy Kid:Dog Days" where at the end of the movie,Greg and Rowley think that the Muddy Hand is after them.

Patrick has sharp teeth in this episode, although he has regular teeth in most episodes.
In the movie there is ice cream, which cannot be underwater, causing it to melt.
There were kids in the movie, the kids were too young to be in the movie.
