Einstein

Einstein is a minor character in SpongeBob SquarePants. He was a former prisoner in Krusty Slammer, appearing in the episode, "The Krusty Slammer".

Description

Einstein appears to be a jellyfish with his body resembling a brain. He has white hair and a mustache, and grey eyes. He wears a prisoners' uniform consisting of a black and white striped outfit and a hat.

Role in episode

He briefly appears in the part where SpongeBob passes all of the prisoners' mail, with him being the last one to get delivered by one on-screen.

The equations he wrote on the wall behind him, and his appearance, which resembles a brain, is a reference to the fact that Albert Einstein is considered one of the smartest people of all time.

• Einstein is entirely a parody of German physicist, Albert Einstein.
  • The face that Einstein is making on the episode is based on the iconic photo of Albert sticking out his tongue when a photographer asked him to smile on the occasion of his 72nd birthday on March 14, 1951.
