Face Freeze (disease)

Cause

It is caused by holding a certain face for too long, or possibly just pulling a certain face.

It is unknown what cures it.

Role in episode

As SpongeBob and Patrick are eating their lunch at the Krusty Krab, they make funny faces at each other, which prompts Mr. Krabs to tell them the story about the Face Freeze disease. Mr. Krabs tells the story about a man (Fred) who loved to keep sticking his tongue out, and after sticking it out 444 times, he ends up getting Face Freeze. After being told the story of Face Freeze, SpongeBob and Patrick vow to never make faces again. As they try hard to not make faces later in the day, when their faces start to contort, they see that nothing happened, so they think Mr. Krabs' tale is false so they hold in a face the whole night. The next morning, however, their faces they held in are indeed frozen, proving the Face Freeze to be real. They go to Template:Data:Links's to try and get their faces back to normal, to no avail. As SpongeBob tries to hide his Face Freeze while working at the Krusty Krab, Patrick comes in with his frozen face, and Mr. Krabs gets so angry his face gets frozen too. The episode ends with SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs all having the Face Freeze.
