Fuel rods are nuclear fuel objects that appear in the episode "Bottle Burglars."
Description
They are glowing, green rods of nuclear energy. Any organic being that touches the fuel rods will get electrocuted.
Role in episode
SpongeBob takes one of the fuel rods to distract Spot and lure him out of the Chum Bucket. After Mr. Krabs retrieves the Krabby Patty secret formula, Spot comes back through the hole in the safe and jumps onto Plankton, zapping him with the fuel rod.
