"Lake Crashers" is a Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years episode from season 1. In this episode, the campers have a demolition derby under Lake Yuckymuck.

Synopsis

SpongeBob and Patrick are prepared for a game of "fire coral wrestling," but the coral is too hot for them and they jump off, then collapse in a heap. Sandy laughs at them. Bubble Bass and Kevin carry stacks of books and bump into each other, while Larry misses a frisbee and is sent flying into a stack of anchovies. Seeing so many crashes reminds Sandy of her Uncle Earl, who let her participate in a demolition derby. She gets the idea to hold a demolition derby under the lake with the other campers.

The four contestants prepare to battle.

At the derby, Larry and Bubble Bass fight in one car, while SpongeBob and Sandy are in another. Perch is the announcer, while Squidward and Pearl are cheerleaders. SpongeBob and Sandy put on their helmets, then prepare to ram their boat into the other one. After they crash, they start driving on the walls and are flung around the arena. Sandy activates stilts on her boat to avoid their others' attacks, and SpongeBob looks through a periscope. Bubble Bass shoots mud in their windshield and rams them. Their car spins around rapidly, and SpongeBob catches them with a plunger. Sandy begins bouncing the other car like a paddleball.

A sleeping Mrs. Puff awakes, hearing and smelling the sounds of the demolition derby. She checks it out with a periscope. While conflicted, the sounds of destruction makes her want to join. She enters as an anonymous driver named "Driver X." Mrs. Puff is able to take out both of the cars, and pushes them around the arena like pinballs. She catches the other cars and spins them rapidly, then flings them into the walls. Sandy springs back, but Mrs. Puff captures their car and shoots it high into the air.

Coming down, the car knocks Patrick's ice cream out of his hands. Pearl leaves the stands and crawls after it., going directly into the derby ring. Suddenly, Mrs. Puff sees her opponents approaching her from both sides. She launches herself out of the car, digs under Pearl and grabs her, then puffs up. Her helmet comes off and exposes who she is, to the campers' surprise. She claims to SpongeBob and Sandy that she only joined the derby to keep the students safe. Squidward notices that Pearl has taken control of Mrs. Puff's car, and everyone runs away as she drives into the screen.

This episode was confirmed by Cartoonlounge.de on August 7, 2022.

• This episode was initially scheduled to premiere on June 21, 2023 at 5:00pm on Nickelodeon, but was pulled for encores of "Sir Urchin and Snail Fail" and "Hot Crossed Nuts."
  • It was then scheduled to premiere on August 14, 2023 at 1:00pm, later at 5:00pm, but it was then pulled entirely.
• This episode's plot is similar to "Demolition Doofus" from the main series, as both episodes primarily take place in a demolition derby.
