[A zipline is shown through binoculars. A kid slides down and suddenly stops.]
Kid: [yelling, then stops and looks down] Whoa!]
[A bunch of other kids slam into him.]
Kids: [impact noises]
[They all sink down and then spring up and get flung away.]
Rea and Roh: [off-screen, laughing]
[Two kids in a kayak paddle around the lake, next to a rock.]
Rea: [off-screen] Just look at these specimen!
[The kids hit the rock, which reveals itself to be a monster, and sink.]
Kids: [gasping]
Rea and Roh: [off-screen laughing]
[Two kids are seen building a sandcastle.]
Roh: [off-screen] Lifestyles of the wanting and envious!
[Kevin comes out of the sandcastle and inhales deeply. Cut to Rea and Roh sitting in lawn chairs, watching the campers through spectacles, which they put down.]
Rea and Roh: [laughing]
Roh: Watching the under-monied is so fascinating.
Rea: Inspiration! Why don't we have a safari among the meager masses?
Roh: How delightfully droll! [snapping] Oh, Regigilled?
[Regigilled appears and opens up a dinner platter, which has a stack of money on it. Roh takes it and flips through the bills. Krabs runs up to them with a chariot attached to him.]
Krabs: You moneyed? [grins]
[Krabs chases after a bag of money on a fishing pole, pulling Rea and Roh. Regigilled sits behind with a parasol for them.]
Rea: Whoa!
[They suddenly stop and Krabs gets hit by the bag of money, and Regigilled hits the carriage face-first.]
Krabs: Ow!
[Through the binoculars, Mo, Craig, and Larry are seen exercising.]
Rea: So that's how the roughabouts gain their foul stench.
[Roh covers his mouth in disgust.]
Mo: [lifts barbell] That's the stink of victory, bro! [bad smells come from her armpits, making Craig shatter into glass]
Roh: [gasps] They're addressing us! [waves money] Keep your pungent [throws money] distance!
Larry: [gets hit with the money] Ooh? Hey! Looks like the protein bars are on the rich dudes!
Rea and Roh: [laughing, they zoom off] Phew!
Rea: [pulls fishing rod] Whoa!
Krabs: [leaps after the bag and falls on his face] Whoa!
[They stop in front of the general store. Krabs jumps up for the money, but cannot reach it.]
Rea: Look, Roh! A common store filled with benign things! [clapping] Let's have a romp and buy something trite! Just like a run-of-the-mill person!
Rea and Roh: [open doors] Hello, have-nots!
Shoppers: Hmm? [keep looking at their merchandise]
Roh: [looks around] It's deliciously unbearable!
Rea: Let's buy the most expensive thing and then destroy it!
[They see a poor, dirty kid with a crutch.]
Poor camper: [sighs] Isn't she [sheds tear] glorious? [shot of raft on the wall] The official Kamp Koral inflatable raft. Even if I got a second paper route, I could never afford that beauty.
Rea and Roh: [snickering]
Roh: [snaps] Regigilled?
Regigilled: [arrives] Mmh?
Roh: We'll take the raft.]
[Regigilled takes the raft off the wall.]
Poor camper: [grabs Regigilled's tuxedo] But sir, do you think they will let me... play with the raft?
Regigilled: Doubtful. [removes the poor camper's hand and walks away]
Poor camper: [looks sad]
[Rea and Roh stand at the counter, snickering. Rea holds up her credit card. Mr. Krabs comes up, also snickering, and takes it. He presses a button on the register, but "Error" comes up.]
Krabs: Hmm? Declined? [keeps scanning the card, but it makes error beeps] Oh, this is the worst part of my job! [looks away and chops card in half]
Rea: [worried] What do you mean?
Roh: Surely there's some explanation!
Poor camper: [comes in with newspaper] Extra, extra, read all about it! Rea and Roh's parents lose everything in the fish stock market! [to them] Buy a paper? Oh, right! Never mind! [throws papers away and cheers, does flips out of the building and clicks his heels]
Krabs: Well, there's your explanation! You're broke!
Rea and Roh: [press against each other] Ohh?
Krabs: [pushes them to the exit with a broom]
Roh: Broke? [flails arms] This can't be happening!
Rea: [snaps] Regigilled! Take us home immediately!
[A wooshing sound is heard.]
Rea: Regigilled?
[The raft Regigilled was holding falls to the floor. Bubble transition to Rea and Roh walking to the Yacht cabin.]
Rea: Walking is...
Roh: Exhausting!
[Rea collapses at the front door. Roh tries to open it, but cannot.]
Roh: It's locked!
Lady Upturn: [through the mail slot] It is my duty to inform you that you no longer meet the minimum wealth requirement to live at Yacht Cabin.
Rea: What do we do now!?
Roh: We'll have to leave camp!
Krabs: [runs up, still attached to chariot] Oh, no, you don't have to leave camp! But I'm gonna have to severely downgrade your camp experience.
[Rea and Roh pull Krabs on the chariot and collapse.
Krabs: Here we are! [gestures to a tiny cabin] Home sweet home.
Rea: [runs up to it] Oh, it's not nearly as bad as I imagined.
[Roh opens the door to reveal a patched tent next to some trash bags and a dumpster. The front of the cabin falls off, revealing it to be a decoy]
Roh: It's worse!
Rea: [nervous noises]
[Lightning flashes and rain falls. Rea and Roh run into the tent and sit by a lantern.]
Roh: It's so cold! I do wish we had some blankets!
Rea: Don't worry, I've got it! [rings bell] Oh, Regigilled!
Regigilled: [grabs the bell] Quite sorry, but bell privileges are for Yacht Club members only. [leaves]
[Rea and Roh look sad for a bit.]
Rea: Don't worry, Roh! We're strong! And we don't need anyone!
Roh: Yes! We're survivors!
[They hold hands. Fade to their skeletons in their place the next morning, until they are shown with sand buckets and shovels.]
Rea: Building sand sculptures was a great way to pass the time, Roh!
Roh: Yes! And now that the rain has stopped, maybe we can get some sleep!
[Krabs bangs two lids in the cabin, startling them and making the sand sculptures collapse.]
Krabs: Wakey wakey! [throws lids away] It's time to start the day!
Rea: No need for the wake-up call, Mr. Krabs. We shan't be participating in camp activities today.
Krabs: Camp activities are for fully paid campers. You'll be earning your keep. [throws aprons at them]
Roh: Oh...
[Bubble transition to a line of campers in front of Plankton's canteen.]
Plankton: Alright, you deadbeats, listen up! Krabs says you work for me now.
Roh: What is this... [over-pronouncing] work you speak of?
Plankton: Work is you feeding slop to these mouth-breathers...
Bubble Bass: [heavy breathing]
Plankton: [gestures to a pile of plates] And then doing their dirty dishes!
[Rea comes up at the front of the canteen, serving Bubble Bass. She looks around in confusion.]
Rea: Umm...
Bubble Bass: [groans] Try using the ladle!
Rea: [picks up ladle] Oh. [uses the small end to scoop a tiny bit of food onto Bubble Bass's tray]
Bubble Bass: Unacceptable portion! [slurps it off, wipes his mouth with a napkin, and leaves]
Plankton: Use the other end, you nincompoop!
Rea: Oh!
[Rea uses the opposite end of the ladle on the pot's side handle, flipping it over and spilling the food onto Plankton.]
Rea: Oh!
Plankton: [pained scream]
Roh: [dusts off hands] I finished throwing out the dirty dishes!
Plankton: Eh, that was fast. Wait, throw out!?
Roh: Of course!
[Cut to the dishes broken and shoved in the dumpster.]
Roh: [off-screen] Who eats off the same dishes twice?
[A dish falls out and shatters. Cut to the canteen rocking as Plankton yells.]
Plankton: You're fired! [he launches Rea and Roh through the chimney]
Rea and Roh: [yelling]
[Rea and Roh land in front of Krabs.]
Krabs: Good news! I have an even harder job for you!
[Cut to Mrs. Puff, holding a ladder, leading Rea and Roh to the lighthouse, which is covered with barnacles.]
Mrs. Puff: Your job is to clean the barnacles off the lighthouse.
[Shot of the barnacles.]
Roh: Physical labor! [gets on his knees] How far have we fallen!?
Mrs. Puff: Speaking of fallen, here's the ladder. [gives Rea the ladder and walks away]
Rea and Roh: [look at each other, shrug]
[They grin and sweat when Mrs. Puff looks at them.]
Mrs. Puff: [sighs, puts the ladder against the lighthouse, points up to the top of it and leaves]
Roh: All right. [shot of ladder] You hold the ladder [zoom out] and I will... ascend.
[Roh appears to climb very high up the ladder. It shakes and he looks down at Rea.]
Rea: [zooms out] She won't hold much longer!
Roh: [climbs up more]
Rea: Come on, Roh! You can do this!
Roh: [straining, climbing]
Mrs. Puff: Oh.
[Cut to show Roh has barely climbed up the ladder, which is still very small.]
Mrs. Puff: I forgot to give you a scraper. [gives Roh a scraper and leaves]
[Roh tries to scrape a barnacle off, first with one hand, then two. A bead of sweat appears on his forehead.]
Roh: Perspiration! [tries to scrape the barnacle off, but it causes the entire lighthouse to collapse instead, with the one barnacle staying in place]
Mrs. Puff: [sitting inside the lighthouse, reading, turns to them angrily, barnacle falls from the air] You're fired! [puffs up, launching them, her book, and the ladder away]
[Bubble transition to the nurse's office.]
Nurse Helga: And that [puts a cast on a girl camper] is how you put on a cast.
Cast girl: [happy noises, walks away, gets slammed by the door]
Mo: [opens door] Hidey ho, Nurse Helga!
[Roh pushes her as Rea pulls her.]
Rea: We've got this one!
Roh: Just have a seat! [sets her on the table] Right here!
Mo: But I just came in here for some [flexes] muscle balm!
[Helga turns around and is surprised to see Rea and Roh have wrapped Mo in bandages.]
Helga: What in blazes?
Rea: [takes out saws] Can we try surgery?
Helga: You are [kicks them out] discharged!
[Bubble transition to Rea and Roh back in their tent.]
Roh: We've been fired from everything! What are we going to do now?
Rea: Die. Cold and alone...
SpongeBob: You won't be alone! [comes out of the trash] I'll be hanging out with you!
Rea and Roh: [hug each other and scream]
Rea: Why would you want to hang out with us? We don't have any [grabs face] money!
SpongeBob: I don't want your money! [reaches out, zombie-like] I want your friendship!
Roh: [presses against Rea] Moneyless friendship!? Is that even possible?
SpongeBob: [zombie-like moaning, then reverts to normal] Being friendly doesn't cost a [snaps] dime! Let me show ya! [grabs them and runs off]
[Bubble transition to Jelly Meadows. Elwood is on his back with an untied shoe. SpongeBob takes Rea and Roh to him.]
SpongeBob: Part of being friendly is helping people out!
Elwood: [starts spinning around]
Rea: Oh, the poor thing! Should we put it out of its misery!
SpongeBob: [laughs] No! He just needs help! Need your shoe tied again, Elwood?
Elwood: Uh-huh.
SpongeBob: [tying] the shoe] Just gotta do a loop-dee-loop and a pull... [the shoe is tied] And there you go!
SpongeBob and Elwood: [jump into the air and high-five] Friendship is fun!
Rea and Roh: Ooh! Oh!
[Elwood rolls away.]
SpongeBob: Ready to try?
Rea: [excited] We wouldn't know where to begin!
SpongeBob: [thinking] Well... I've never caught a jellyfish before! [clasps hands] It'd be really friendly if you helped me with that!
[Campers are jellyfishing and one catches another. SpongeBob is struggling to catch a jellyfish.]
Rea: It appears he does need help.
[SpongeBob gets stung and falls over. Rea and Roh swing to catch it, but catch each other, and the jellyfish stings them both.]
SpongeBob: [laughs, gets stung by another jellyfish after trying to catch it]
[A jellyfish flies to Rea and Roh.]
Rea: Ooh!
[They run and try to catch it, and catch a jellyfish another camper was trying to get.]
Rea, Roh, and camper: [jump into the air and high five] Friendship is fun!
[Rea and Roh high five, but the jellyfish goes between them and they get stung, then fall down.]
Camper: Uh-oh.
[Jellyfish transition to two campers trying to catch a jellyfish. Rea and Roh look at each other, snicker, and swing their net at them, accidentally catching the campers. They shrug.]
Rea and Roh: [jumping into the air] Friendship is-- [the other campers catch them in nets]
[The other campers walk off, angry. The jellyfish stings Rea and Roh.]
Rea and Roh: [yelling]
[Jellyfish transition to Rea and Roh using a box and string trap to catch a jellyfish. They check on it, but find nothing, as the jellyfish catches them in a bigger box, then zaps the box.]
[A jellyfish is sipping a drink when Rea and Roh try to catch it. It hides behind a big rock. Rea and Roh look around in confusion, only to yell when the rock reveals itself to be a giant jellyfish in disguise. It zaps them, hits them through some obstacles, and into a rock. The jellyfish then lands itself in Rea's net, making everyone cheer.]
Rea: You did it!
SpongeBob: [takes jellyfish out of net, jumps into the air and high fives Rea and Roh] Thank you, friends! [walks off laughing with the jellyfish stinging him]
Rea: Shocking! We had fun and made friends and it didn't cost us a penny!
Roh: Could it be... [light shines on him] one doesn't need money to be truly happy?
Poor camper: [runs in with another newspaper] Extra, extra, read all about it! Fish stock market is up! Rea and Roh's parents are rich again!
Roh: [drops jellyfishing net and wipes brow] Oh, thank goodness!
Rea: [drops net] That was close. We almost learned something.
Regigilled: [appears with a platter, lifts it open to reveal money] Your money?
Rea: [takes money and flips the stack]
Krabs: [runs up with a chariot] You new money?
[Rea and Roh get back in the chariot. SpongeBob comes up with a jellyfish on his head]
SpongeBob: That's great news, guys! [raises finger] But I hope you always remember... [gesturing] the value of friendship.
Roh: The value... of... friendship? Hmm. I say that's worth [takes out a dollar bill] five dollars. [puts it in SpongeBob's pants] Thank you, SpongeTodd.
Rea: [snaps] Homeward!
Krabs: [laughs, takes the money from SpongeBob, runs away]
Rea and Roh: [laughing]
[The other campers chase after Rea and Roh with their nets.]
