"Plankton's Plan" is a SpongeBob SquarePants Kids' Choice Awards short. In this short, Plankton reveals his next plan for the downfall of the Krusty Krab.

Synopsis

This short first starts off outside the Chum Bucket, where Plankton climbs up onto a soapbox. He then explains his latest plan, which reveals he will bring the Chum Bucket to the people, instead of the people to the restaurant, and Plankton starts his evil laugh.

The ground then shakes, pushing Plankton onto the face of an invisible wall while screaming "Mommy!," which is revealed to be a glass of water. Serena Williams drinks it, realizes that it tastes bad and asks who put sea monkeys in her drink, and dumps it into a plant pot causing Plankton to scream, as the short ends with Serena getting confused where the screaming came from.

• This short aired during the 2004 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
  • SpongeBob SquarePants won its second all time award at this event for Favorite Cartoon.
  • This short also aired on the same day as "Krabby Land" and "The Camping Episode" and the premiere of Danny Phantom.
• This is the only short to play "Grass Skirts Blowing (Hilo March)" and any of the "Zelle" tracks.
• This is the first Plankton-themed short.
• The short's art style seems to indicate that it was animated during the production of the first movie.
  • Plankton's outline is a darker shade of green in this short, although it is usually black.
• This short marks the first mention of a sea monkey in the franchise. They would not appear in the main series until "Not Normal."
