The prospector is a character who appears in The Patrick Star Show episode "The Yard Sale."

Description

The prospector is a very elderly crab with a wrinkly red skin, a white beard, and wears a messy tattered green shirt and blue jeans on overalls.

Role in episode

In the Old West, GrandPat pitches him a vacuum cleaner to clean his mine. The prospector mishears "mine" as "mime" and accuses him of trying to steal his gold. GrandPat demonstrates the vacuum, which the prospector seems to like, until GrandPat turns the power up too high and ends up stealing the gold. The prospector gets angry and makes the mime attack him, only for both of them to be sucked up by the vacuum. In the present day, Mr. Krabs buys the vacuum from Patrick, with the prospector still trapped inside and calling out.
