Sand fleas

Sand fleas are a group of fleas that appear in the comic strip The Housesitter.

Description

They have a pink exoskeleton, long antennae, two legs, and four arms. One of the sand fleas has a brown hat with a purple stripe in the middle.

Role in comic

When the robber is trying to break into Mr. Krabs' house, he ends up getting sand fleas in his eyes from SpongeBob shaking out filth from a towel, which had the sand fleas in it.

They end up stinging the robber, until the one with the hat decides that he wants to go back to the Chum Bucket. However, one of the sand fleas disagrees with him, saying that even though he is disgusting, he is not going to be so desperate he will have to go to the Chum Bucket.
