Sandy's lungs
Sandy's lungs are internal organs that first appear in the episode "Pressure."
Description
They are a pair of lungs connected by the trachea which contract and turn blue due to Sandy not being able to breathe underwater.
Role in series
"Pressure"
While Sandy was struggling to hold her breath underwater, her lungs shrivel up and one of them breaks off from her airways when her face turns red.
"A Fish Called Sandy"
During Sandy's transformation, her lungs shrink and grows gills, allowing her to breathe underwater like a real sea creature.
