Stalagmiters are hats that resemble stalagmites. They are sold in the gift shop in the Chum Caverns and appear in the episode of the same name.

Description

The hats are tall and thin replicas of the stalagmites that are present in the Chum Caverns.

Role in episode

SpongeBob buys his own stalagmite hat and shows it to Mr. Krabs. Other fish also wear these hats.

Trivia

• It is a parody of both stalagmites, the rock in a cave that sticks upward, and miters, which are tall headdresses worn by bishops and senior abbots as a symbol of office.
