The Big One is a giant evil wave that likes to eat surfers and first appears in the episode "SpongeBob SquarePants vs. The Big One" and later again in the online games SpongeBob vs. The Big One (online game) and Gnarly Rip Curl.
Description
The Big One is a large, dark blue wave of water with a face and tongue made of water. It once smiles and eats Patrick's surfboard.
Sacrifices
If one wants to live after surfing The Big One, they must make at least one sacrifice. Objects sacrificed to The Big One include Patrick and Squidward's surfboards, the Krusty Krab cash register, and Jack Kahuna Laguna, the latter two of which are later returned.
