No Cheese!

Movie Stills Cutscene

• French Narrator: Welcome to our little tale of woe, triumph against impossible odds, terror, and managerial responsibility. Our story begins in the calm waters above the town of Bikini Bottom. As we descend beneath the waves, we find another day... Wait a minute! Hold your seahorses!

Opening Cutscene

• Incidental 68: I can't believe this is happening here!
• Incidental 65: It's horrible!
• Mr. Krabs: Oh, thank Neptune, my manager is here!
• SpongeBob: Talk to me, Krabs.
• Mr. Krabs: It started out as a simple order: a Krabby Patty with cheese.
• SpongeBob: So what went wrong?
• Mr. Krabs: When the customer took a bite, no cheese! (cries) This has never happened before!
• SpongeBob: Get a hold of yourself, Eugene. I'm going in.

Showcase Cutscene

(Patrick is seen stumbling around in the Jellyfish Fields when he gets stung by a jellyfish. Angered, he chases after it, and does a spin attack against it, knocking it out. Later, Patrick turns around in horror to see more jellyfish behind him and runs for his life. The jellyfish soon swim after him.)

I'm Ready... Depression

• Phil: Who are you?
• SpongeBob: I'm the manager of this establishment. Everything is gonna be just fine.
• Phil: I'm really scared, man!
• SpongeBob: You got a name?
• Phil: Phil. (cries)
• SpongeBob: Come on, Phil, stay with me. I've only got one shot at this. Gotta have the right tool for the job. Bingo. Now, I want you to do me a favor, Phil.
• Phil: What?
• SpongeBob: Say, "cheese."
• French Narrator: Ah, the beginning. Our little yellow friend awakes from his slumber and prepares for the biggest day of his life. Yet, despite his dreams, he is not honored with the manager position of the new Krusty Krab 2. So, he sulks off to drown his depression in ice cream at the local Goofy Goober's. Across the street, jealous of Mr. Krabs' success, the diabolical Plankton hatches "Plan Z": he steals King Neptune's crown and frames Mr. Krabs for selling it to the far-off and dangerous land of Shell City. Let us now join our heroes in the midst of their self-pity.

Opening Cutscene

• Waiter: Hey. Hey buddy. Come on, wake up.
• Patrick: (wakes up) Huh? Where am I? (spins around on the chair and falls to the ground)
• Waiter: It's eight in the morning. Closed. Go collect your friend and get outta here.
• SpongeBob: (shown with two Foggers) Hey buddy, come on up here and join the... party! (one of the Foggers burped at the other, sending it flying, destroying the stage set in the process)
• Patrick: SpongeBob!

Showcase Cutscene

• (SpongeBob is seen getting chased by two Slammers.)
• Patrick: SpongeBob!
• SpongeBob: What's up, Patrick? (one of the slammers try to smash Spongebob, but fails around three times) You have got to try this new "Duck the Broom" game.
• Patrick: (points to a rubber ducky) Duck!
• SpongeBob: Where? (goes after it as the other slammer chases after him, only to get smashed by the first Slammer, sending Spongebob falling back down the parlor)

Showcase Cutscene 2

• SpongeBob: (shown laying his back against a spawner, which spawns two Foggers from before) Hey, hey! It's you two again! I missed you guys... (Angry, the first Foggeer burps at Spongebob, knocking him back against the second Fogger, which burps against its own Spawner. This causes the two to cringe in fear as the Spawner deflates and explodes, knocking them back)

• Mindy: Patrick, if you bring me 2 Goofy Goober Tokens, I can grant you the Cartwheel move.
• Patrick: Oh, boy! I love... whatever that move is.
• Mindy: You will. Just bring me more Goofy Goober Tokens.

• Mindy: OK, Patrick. Since you've brought me enough Goofy Goober Tokens, you may now use the Cartwheel move.
• Patrick: Time to spin? Oh, boy! Oh, boy! Oh, boy!
• Hint: When you do the Cartwheel move, you'll dash forward quickly smashing anything in your path.
• Mindy: You'd better get going, Patrick. There's lots to do.

Sandwich Driving 101

• SpongeBob: There you are, Patrick. I've been trying to find you all evening.
• Patrick: Uh, it's eight in the morning, SpongeBob.
• SpongeBob: Oh my gosh, eight o'clock! I am late for work! Mr. Krabs is gonna kill me! Oh, Mr. Krabs...
• French Narrator: Back at the Krusty Krab, King Neptune confronts Mr. Krabs about his alleged thievery. He asks if there is anyone present who may vouch for Mr. Krabs' character. And our yellow Knucklehead-McSpazitron shows up to accuse Mr. Krabs of being a horrible person. King Neptune zaps Mr. Krabs, causing SpongeBob to sober up quickly. He selflessly volunteers to journey to Shell City and retrieve the king's crown. Freezing Mr. Krabs in place, King Neptune grants a six-day reprieve, so SpongeBob and Patrick may attempt to retrieve the crown. King Neptune's daughter, Mindy, provides SpongeBob and Patrick with a magic mirror, through which she can communicate and assist our heroic duo. We continue as SpongeBob and Patrick arrive at the Patty Wagon.

• Mindy: SpongeBob, Patrick, it's time to start your journey. Drive the Patty Wagon through Bikini Bottom to the edge of town.

Main Mission Mindy Segment

• Mindy: This road will take you through Bikini Bottom to the edge of town. Don't let the Patty Wagon take too much damage, or you'll have to start again.
• SpongeBob: Our journey begins. Epic! Heroic! Daring! Valiant! Courageous!
• Mindy: SpongeBob, you're driving a sandwich.
• SpongeBob: Not just a sandwich, a Krabby Patty!
• Patrick: With cheese.

Three... Thousand Miles to Shell City

Movie Stills Cutscene

• French Narrator: With the chaos of Bikini Bottom behind it, SpongeBob and Patrick begin their long journey towards Shell City. However, with SpongeBob gone, all is not well. Plankton is now selling the Krabby Patty at the Chum Bucket, and with every purchase, customers are getting a mind-controlling bucket helmet. Squidward has discovered Plankton's plan to create an army of Bucketheads. Will Squidward save the day? No. On the outskirts of town, SpongeBob and Patrick meet some of the charming locals, who tell them they will not last long outside the city. But, our friends, did not listen. They should have listened. Our heroes are now stranded in a vast desert, with only their feet for transportation.

Opening Cutscene

• Mindy: Plankton is using those radio towers to broadcast his evil messages across the sea! SpongeBob, you have to find a way to shut those towers down!

Mindy Segment (Not enough tokens)

• Mindy: SpongeBob, if you want to reach those towers, you'll need to learn the Bash move.
• SpongeBob: Bash? How can I learn that?
• Mindy: I can teach you, but you'll need more Goofy Goober Tokens first.
• SpongeBob: If that's what it takes to stop Plankton's evil scheme, then I'll do it.

• Mindy: You have enough Goofy Goober Tokens! Now I can teach you the Bash move.

• Mindy: Those radio towers are broadcasting Plankton's hypnotizing messages! If we don't do something soon every creature in the sea will be under Plankton's control! You have to go into the desert and shut them down!
• SpongeBob: Isn't this the really dangerous desert that no one has ever returned from?
• Mindy: Uhhhh... No, I think that's the desert next to this one.
• SpongeBob: Oh! Well in that case I'll have those towers shut down in a jiffy!

Showcase Cutscene

(Patrick is seen sneaking behind a Flinger, hitting it with a bat, but it proved ineffective as it floats away from him. Patrick, thinking of what to do next, as to how to hit him in the butt, finds a cactus landing next to him, and getting an idea: hit the cactus with the bat, sending it against the rock, shooting it upwards, hitting the Flinger's butt. Angry, the Flinger spits at Patrick, sending him slipping across the desert)

Ending Cutscene

(The last Generator explodes, knocking down the speaker on top of the tower, crushing the fish from the gas station. The rest of the tower collapses as SpongeBob and Patrick cheer on)

• Mindy: I found one last spot with those ugly Plankton propaganda towers. Use whatever you can find to knock them down.

Main Mission Mindy Segment

• Mindy: The last of Plankton's propaganda towers are here at the edge of the desert.
• SpongeBob: (gasps) Breath-takingly evil.
• Mindy: These tracks form part of a slide through this area. I need you two to race down them and knock those towers over.
• Patrick: Sounds kinda hard.
• Mindy: Don't worry guys. Stay on the track, jump over obstacles and hit any Plankton signs you see along the way. Good luck!

• French Narrator: Our heroes, having foiled Plankton's evil plans, continue across the desert. But, Plankton remains one stubby step ahead of them. He sends someone to make sure that they will fail. He is a vicious, ruthless killer named... Dennis. Fortunately, SpongeBob and Patrick have discovered the Patty Wagon in a parking lot, but the key is missing. So, the only thing to do, is to go into the rough tough bar and look for it. Good luck, my friends. You're going to need it.

• Mindy: You have to get the key to the Patty Wagon back.

Mindy Segment (Not enough tokens)

• Mindy: I'm sorry, Patrick. You don't have enough Goofy Goober Tokens for me to give you the (Butt) Smash. You'll need the (Butt) Smash to get the key to the Patty Wagon back and defeat all the thugs. You need more Goofy Goober Tokens.
• Patrick: But, Mindy. I picked a flower for you. Oh, I think I lost it.
• Mindy: Sorry, Patrick.

• Hint: To execute a Smash/Slam, jump into the air and bounce your bottom.
• Patrick: In the air?
• Mindy: Yes, you have to be in the air for the (Butt) Smash to work. You can use it to press buttons, break through floors and even defeat enemies.

• Mindy: The Patty Wagon is parked outside, but you'll need to get the key back to use it.
• Patrick: That doesn't sound hard.
• Mindy: You'll probably have to defeat all of the thugs to get to it.
• Patrick: That sounds hard.

• Patrick: Well, if you believe in me, then I can do it.

• SpongeBob, Patrick: The key to the Patty Wagon! (SpongeBob tiptoes behind a Spinner's back, before getting the key in success)
• Patrick: Careful... Easy... You got it! (But in retaliation, the Spinner spins SpongeBob around and tosses him through the hallway)

• Patrick: (As SpongeBob lands next to him) Ohh... the key! (SpongeBob attempts to get close to it, but one more step, and the Turret opens its lid, sending the key flying. He screams as SpongeBob goes after it, losing the key once again)

• Patrick: (As SpongeBob reaches for the key again...) Don't let it get away! (...he lunges at SpongeBob, sitting on him in the process)
• SpongeBob: (screams, then says muffled) I think we've got the key now, Patrick. I also think you can get off of me.

• Mindy: The gates are locked. You'll have to find all the keys to unlock the gates.

Main Mindy Segment

• Mindy: The gates out to the main road are locked.
• SpongeBob: Locked! Then how can we drive out?
• Patrick: Floor the Patty Wagon and bust through the gates!
• SpongeBob: Sorry, Patrick. For that we'd need a Super Krabby Patty Deluxe.
• Mindy: You can unlock the gates if you find all the keys around the track.

Opening Cutscene

• SpongeBob: Patrick, we've got to start acting like men.
• Patrick: (sees the Free Ice Cream sign)SpongeBob.
• SpongeBob: (slams on his brakes, then exits the vehicle) I'll be right back!
• Patrick: (realizes he's in a graveyard, full of bones. He yells at him) SpongeBob, wait! (SpongeBob turns back to face Patrick, before going back to the ice cream stall) Make mine chocolate.
• SpongeBob: I'll have two chocolate banana splits with sprinkles, berries, stars and Goober beans, with extra sauce please? (He gets pushed away by a tongue disguised as an ice cream lady) Uh, you can let go now. I said let go, please! (shudders) What kind of old lady are you?! (Turns out, it was a Frogfish, and he screams as he gets flinged up to its head)
• Patrick: (Leaves the Patty Wagon and runs after him, breaking the bridge in the process before the main fight) I'll save you, SpongeBob!

Ending Cutscene

• SpongeBob, Patrick: (The Frogfish's tongue grabs Patrick, drags him from underneath, and bringing him back from the other side. He flings them up into the air as they scream, landing them back onto the Patty Wagon)

Rock Slide

Movie Stills Cutscene

• SpongeBob: Patrick, step on it! (screaming)
• Ice Cream Lady: Come on, kiddies. Have some ice cream.
• SpongeBob: Jump for it, Patrick!
• French Narrator: And so, the hideous creature was vanquished by an even more hideous creature coming from the deep ocean trench.
• SpongeBob: Well, we lost our car again.
• Patrick: Never mind the car, where's the road?
• SpongeBob: There's the road! On the other side of the deep, dark, dangerous, monster-infested... trench. (They gulp)
• French Narrator: After gulping, SpongeBob and Patrick decided to throw in the towel. Luckily, Mindy arrived, and showed them what was really going on back in Bikini Bottom. Plankton had transformed Bikini Bottom into Planktopolis. The sight of their city, convinced our heroes to continue on to Shell City. So, in order to become men, they cried like little babies. But, someone was hot on their tail. With no time to lose, Princess Mindy thought of a better idea, and our heroes quickly became men, and marched toward the treacherous trench.

Opening Cutscene

• Mindy: To get to Shell City, you're going to need to cross the bottom of the trench. You can get to the bottom using this slide.

Main Mission Mindy Segment

• Mindy: The only way across the trench is along the bottom, but you have to get there first by traveling down this slide, past those sea monsters.
• SpongeBob: Hmm... The trench is pretty deep.
• Patrick: And very dark.
• SpongeBob: Ah, no sweat, Mindy. We're men now and those sea monsters wouldn't scare a guppy.
• Mindy: That's the spirit. Now, get down there as quickly as possible.

• Mindy: Holy cow, you actually did it?
• SpongeBob: Of course we did, we're men.

• Mindy: This place is full of horrible, hideous and disgusting monsters. You've got to cross the trench to get to Shell City.

• Mindy: I'm sorry, SpongeBob. You don't have enough Goofy Goober Tokens for me to give you the Sponge-Bowl. You'll need the Sponge-Bowl to defeat the monsters here.
• SpongeBob: Sponge-Bowl? Well, will a cereal bowl do?
• Mindy: Sorry, SpongeBob, but you need more Goofy Goober Tokens.

• Mindy: Awesome! You have enough Goofy Goober Tokens to earn your next ability: the Sponge-Bowl.
• SpongeBob: Strike-o-matic! Oh, I forgot my spoon.
• Mindy: No, Sponge-Bowl. It's really useful on things you don't want to get close to.
• Hint: To execute a Sponge-Bowl, launch a bowling ball on spinning levers, hard-to-reach buttons, TVs, Poppers, and monsters.

• Mindy: Those nasty Bucketheads must be stopped! Shell City is on the other side of this dark, scary place.
• SpongeBob: Real men aren't afraid of the dark!
• Mindy: You need to get across this trench.
• SpongeBob: Real men aren't afraid of the trench!
• Mindy: Of course they're not. Just look out for monsters.
• SpongeBob: Pssh. Monsters.

Showcase Cutscene

• Pstrick: (hides behind a coral as a Popper appeared. He scares it, before disappearing behind him.) Whee! Whee! (He then plays a game of chicken with the Popper, eventually slowing down and catching his breath) Get up here, and fight like a starfish! (Finally, tired, and out of breath, he let the Popper shoot at his butt, sending him flying)

Shell City, Dead Ahead

• French Narrator: And that is how SpongeBob and Patrick escaped the trench full of hideous, disgusting monsters. Meanwhile, Dennis continues to follow our heroes. Some unsavory types attempt to get in his way, but he manages to reason with them. And so, like two tin cans in a trash compactor, SpongeBob and Patrick continue on, blissfully unaware of the danger closing in on them. Standing in their way, is a field full of stinky garbage. But with Shell City somewhere on the other side, they have no choice but to push on.

Opening Cutscene

• Mindy: Plankton is using those televisions to brainwash unsuspecting ocean creatures! You must destroy those televisions.

Mindy Segment (Not enough tokens)

• Mindy: Patrick, if you want to destroy those TV's, you'll need to learn to pick up and throw objects. You need more Goofy Goober Tokens before I can teach you.
• Patrick: Can I give you these rocks instead?
• Mindy: Sorry Patrick, they've got to be Tokens.

Mindy Segment (Collected enough tokens)

• Mindy: Patrick, you've collected enough Goofy Goober Tokens.
• Patrick: Now with improved targeting! Whatever that is.
• Hint: To execute a Throw, stand next to a Throw-Fruit or crate, pick it up, and throw at hard-to-reach buttons, and MERVs.
• Patrick: Okey dokey!

Showcase Cutscene

(A Mini-MERV appears in front of SpongeBob wearing his karate gear as he hops into the mini arena. SpongeBob attempts to lunge at it, but gets knocked back by the Mini-MERV's laser. He tries again, tiptoeing close to it, before noticing its laser pointer on his forehead, and steps back a few feet. His solution is to throw its arm with the glove at the Mini-MERV, destroying it. SpongeBob winks at the player before disappearing below the platform)

Main Mission Mindy Segment

• Mindy: Plankton's using those TV's to try and trick people to come to Bikini Bottom. If they go, they'll become slaves in his army.
• Patrick: If only there was something I could do.

• French Narrator: When SpongeBob and Patrick awakened from their sweet dreams of ice cream sundaes and dancing peanuts, they discover that they have become prisoners of the Cyclops. For you see, gentle viewers, our heroes had at long last made it to Shell City, and had discovered its awful secret. Shell City was nothing more than a souvenir shop. Those who are captured were dried up and turned into smelly knick-knacks! And that is precisely what was happening to our two friends. The situation seemed to be completely and utterly... hopeless. But they were saved by the tear of the Goofy Goober, as well as a conveniently placed sprinkler system. King Neptune's crown lay nearby, but our heroes still needed to escape the treacherous depths of Shell City, and get past their most dangerous adversary, the Cyclops.

• Mindy: This is Shell City?! What a horrible place! But don't worry, there must be a way out.

• Mindy: Good job getting the crown!
• SpongeBob: Are you kidding? That was easy.

• David Hasselhoff: (appears) I can take you there.
• SpongeBob: Who are you?
• David Hasselhoff: I'm not a lifeguard, but I play one on TV.
• SpongeBob, Patrick: Hooray!
• SpongeBob: So, uh, where's your boat?
• Hasselhoff: "Boat"? (laughing)
• SpongeBob: Hooray! Nothing can stop us now! Bikini Bottom, here we come!

Opening Cutscene

• Patrick: Huh? (spots an object behind his feet) Unidentified object off the hindquarters!
• SpongeBob: Bigger boot? But how?
• Dennis: (Appears from the diver's boot) Did you miss me?!
• SpongeBob, Patrick: (screams) Dennis! (Patrick rolls down his butt, before hanging on by a foot)

Ending Cutscene

(Dennis lands in front of SpongeBob, attempting to squash him with his boot again. Patrick screams, and Dennis smirks, before the latter sees the incoming catamaran until it was too late, pushing him off the body. SpongeBob dances in victory)

• SpongeBob: Yay, Patrick! We did it!
• Patrick: Hooray for SpongeBob and Patrick!
• Dennis: (comes back via Cyclops' boot) Now, where were we?!

• Dennis: That's it! I'm through messing around! See you later, fools! (hears honking) Huh? (screaming when seeing a catamaran, and he is defeated)
• Patrick: Goodbye!
• French Narrator: After many adventures, our heroes arrived back home. But it is a much, much different place from the one they left. Where there once was rolling green fields and bustling city streets, there is now Planktopolis. Our city is dark and twisted as the heart of its teeny tiny ruler. All of Bikini Bottom's familiar faces are now covered by unfashionable mind-controlling buckets. And perhaps most horrible of all, King Neptune is at the Krusty Krab 2, preparing to fry Mr. Krabs. Bikini Bottom's only hope rests with a small yellow sponge, and a pink sea star. Can they survive the dangers of Planktopolis? Ooh, let us hope so.

• SpongeBob: (After destroying the last statue inside the temple, Plankton appears on top of the rubble.) Plankton, there's nowhere left to run!
• Plankton: You are too late, SpongeBob. King Neptune is already at the Krusty Krab 2. He is all set to fry Krabs and there is nothing you can do about it.
• SpongeBob: We'll just see about that.
• Plankton: I would love to stay and chat, but I have got a show to catch. Plan Z, I love ya!
• SpongeBob: You won't get away with this, Plankton!

• Mindy: You're almost home, guys. All you have to do now is make it to the Krusty Krab. You'll have to go as fast as you can to avoid the falling debris.

• SpongeBob: But, Mindy! We lost the Patty Wagon!

• Patrick: Hey, King Neptune already has a crown!
• SpongeBob: That's no crown, Patrick. It's one of Plankton's bucket hats! Plankton is controlling King Neptune!
• Plankton: That is right, and now I will have the pleasure of removing you along with your friends. Neptune, I command you to kill SpongeBob!
• King Neptune: Kill SpongeBob.

(King Neptune grunts as the bucket breaks apart, and he is free of his control)

• Plankton: Uh, no, no... uh, "idiot"... (chuckles nervously) uh, French for a "Handsome Man." (gets stunned by the Power of Music and is taken to the police)
• King Neptune: Eugene Krabs. It looks like you were innocent the whole time. Oh, well. That's why pencils have erasers. And now to thank the brave heroes who recovered my crown, and saved Bikini Bottom. SpongeBob and Patrick, you have performed a manly deed.
• Mindy: I'm so proud of you!
• SpongeBob: Thanks, Mindy. I've learned a few things about myself. I may be a dork, and a wingnut.
• Patrick: And Knucklehead-McSpazitron.
• SpongeBob: Yes! But more importantly, I'm a kid, and I like being a kid. I'm just glad that everything is back to normal.
• French Narrator: And so ends the most heroic tale ever told... in Bikini Bottom. And as the sun sets over the island paradise above the waves, we must stop and wonder, how long until the sequel? Depends on the box office. Now go outside and get some sun! You look awful pale.
