[Episode opens up with "Welcome to Goo Lagoon" sign and then the scene pans over Goo Lagoon while the French Narrator is talking]
French Narrator: Ahh... Goo Lagoon-- a stinky mud puddle to you and me, but to the inhabitants of Bikini Bottom, a wonderful, stinky mud puddle.
[The scene changes cuts to SpongeBob and Sandy Sunbathing. SpongeBob is wearing a blue swimsuit.]
SpongeBob: [sighs] What a great day! [Looks at Sandy lying next to him and runs off-screen. He starts talking in the background.] Hey, Sandy, look! [He is underneath a pile of sand and is next to a sand castle I'm Sandy!
[Sandy chuckles and SpongeBob then takes a huge amount of sand forming Squidward's head out of SpongeBob's head and the sand. SpongeBob turns around and a nose like Squidward appears where SpongeBob's nose usually is.]
SpongeBob: [Doing a Squidward impression] Hey, Sandy, who am I?
[Sandy laughs again and then a giant sand phone rings and SpongeBob picks it up.]
SpongeBob: Hello, SpongeBob. Could you keep it down? I'm trying to be boring.
Sandy: [laughs] SpongeBob. [falls on the floor and continues laughing]
[doorbell rings and SpongeBob then enters the scene with nine pizza boxes made of sand and wearing a hat that looks like his work hat also made of sand]
SpongeBob: [Normal Voice] Did anyone order 20 pepperoni and sand pizzas?
[they both starts laughing and soon after that, a shadow caused by a someone approaching them, starts covering them]
Larry: Hey, Sandy. [A large red lobster wearing a green swimsuit with orange flowers appears] Hey, SpongeBob.
Sandy: Hey, Larry.
Larry: You guys want to go lift some weights? [offers Sandy his claw]
Sandy: Sure. [stands up and takes his Larry's claw] Well, come on, SpongeBob.
SpongeBob: [The pizza boxes and hat made of sand distort back to sand piles.] Coming.
[Scene cuts to show them at some arena where fish, sitting on tribunes, are watching Frank the Goldfish, Don the Killer Whale, and a grey fish lifting weights. They are grunting and groaning. The scene pans through the fish and then gets to Larry, Sandy, and SpongeBob watching the fish.]
Larry: [turns to Sandy] Give it a try, Sandy.
Sandy: [grunts and groans while lifting weight, but succeeds and yells.]
[Everyone starts applauding and someone says "Whoa!"]
SpongeBob: Good job, Sandy. [stops applauding] That's about enough for today. [starts leaving, but hears Larry talking]
Larry: How about a little more weight? [takes a huge weight with his claws] Observe. [lifts weight and yells.]
[loud cheering and whooping is heard from tribunes]
SpongeBob: All right, stand back, everyone.
[SpongeBob gets to some branch, wipes his hands together and lifts it; leaving no one impressed and soon sinks into the ground]
Sandy: Y'all watch this. [lifts the weight with two anchors and yells.]
[The crowd from tribunes cheers and it stops as whole tribune starts shaking. Then, Larry appears lifting both tribunes in the air.]
Sandy: Way to go, Larry!
[crowd starts cheering again, but SpongeBob, not looking impressed, leaves the branch and starts traveling through the ground to a fish eating marshmallows next to a wood-fire]
SpongeBob: Could I borrow a couple of these?
Fish: [nods] Mm-hmm.
[SpongeBob returns to the place he left the branch and puts one marshmallow on each end of it]
SpongeBob: And now, with the addition of two-- count'em, two-- marshmallows.
[SpongeBob takes a long preparation and then tries to lift the newly created weight, all followed by various sounds, faces and body movements. After a while like this, the creatures hear the sound of clothes ripping. He turns around and he sees that he has ripped his swimsuit. Everyone first gasps and then starts laughing. SpongeBob leaves the scene embarrassed and we then see him passing by a lot of people laughing and with his head down. SpongeBob soon passes next to Scooter laughing very loud and then stops walking]
Scooter: That was too funny. [slaps SpongeBob on the back] You are hilarious!
Sandy: Ain't he the funniest little sponge you ever saw?
[SpongeBob becomes extremely happy after hearing what Sandy said. The Scene cuts to show Larry holding a volleyball ball in his hand.]
Larry: Anybody up for some volleyball?
[Larry starts playing, scores, and the crowd cheers. A fish serves the ball and SpongeBob suddenly starts running towards the ball.]
SpongeBob: I got it! [He attempts to hit the ball, but it just falls on the ground. He also falls to the ground.] Incoming.
[SpongeBob tries to serve a ball, but fails to which is accompanied with crowd booing. Stand there for a while and then stoops while ripping his pants again]
SpongeBob: Oops! I guess I ripped my pants again.
[crowd starts laughing again and Scooter approaches SpongeBob while laughing]
Scooter: Once again, dude, [slaps SpongeBob on the back again] you have split my sides. [laughs loudly]
[Scene then cuts to Larry catching a plastic disc while being in the air. Lands and then throws it to the Sandy who also manages to catch it while in the air, but starts flipping forward as she lands.]
SpongeBob: Hey, Sandy! How about throwing it to me?
Sandy: Okay, here it comes.
The plastic disc starts traveling to SpongeBob, but SpongeBob does not seem like he wants to catch it and the plastic disc hits him in the forehead.]
SpongeBob: [falls] I could use a hand here. [giggles]
Sandy: [runs towards him and helps him get up up] You okay, SpongeBob?
SpongeBob: I guess so... [shows ripped pants] Expect I ripped my pants!
[all starts laughing again and Scooter approaches SpongeBob while laughing again]
Scooter: You still got it, dude! [slaps SpongeBob on the back again]
[scene cuts to show SpongeBob and Sandy approaching ice cream stand where vendor Lou is standing]
Lou: May I help you?
SpongeBob: I'll take a banana split.
Lou: Uh... we don't have that.
SpongeBob: That's okay. I already... split my pants; get it? [Sandy giggles]
Lou: [looking bored] Tee-hee. Anything else?
SpongeBob: How about... [pants rip] ripple? [Sandy giggles again] No, thanks, already got one.
[Sandy is laughing on the floor next to the ice cream stand as SpongeBob happily leaves the scene. SpongeBob soon hugs Harold who is at a snack bar, eating a burger and spills his juice in the process]
SpongeBob: Is that a burger you're eating?
Harold: Why, yes, it is.
SpongeBob: You know what would go good with that?
Harold: No, what?
SpongeBob: Ripped... pants.
[SpongeBob rips his pants and starts circulating around the snack bar while yelling. He stops between Nat and Dave.]
SpongeBob: Ripped pants a la mode. [rip his pants and both fishes looks annoyed as he leaves]
[scene then cuts to SpongeBob approaching a fry cook with a box in his hand]
SpongeBob: Delivery! Did you order 20 cases of [rips his pants through a box] ripped pants? [laughing]
[the fry cook groans disgustedly and scene cuts to announcer announcing]
Announcer: Surf's up in the Goo Lagoon. And here comes Larry, [shows Larry laying on the board while surfing] doing his trademark layback. There goes Sandy, hanging ten... [shows Sandy standing on his hands while surfing] fingers, that is. There goes SpongeBob... [pants ripped in the background] ripping his pants again. [shows SpongeBob showing his ripped pants while surfing]
[wave covers SpongeBob and sea takes him out to the seacoast. Scene the cuts to lifeguard]
Lifeguard: Hey, look! A cardboard box washed up on the beach. [takes his telescope out to see that it is SpongeBob washed up there] Holy fish paste! [takes saving equipment and starts running towards SpongeBob] It's a guy! [gets to him and lifts him] Why?! [sobbing] Why?! [shrieking] Why?!
[a crowd gathers around SpongeBob and the lifeguard and Sandy starts running towards them]
Sandy: SpongeBob!
[a divine light starts shining on SpongeBob]
SpongeBob: Come closer. [grabs him] I need... [gasps]
[Sandy has tears in her eyes and lifeguard talks in the background.]
Lifeguard: What do you need?
SpongeBob: [shows SpongeBob lips moving] A tailor. [The divine light stops] Because I ripped my pants. [lifeguard drops him as he laughs]
[crowd grumbles and starts leaving]
Spectator #1: That kind of stuff is uncalled for.
Spectator #2: What is that?
[after SpongeBob is alone, Sandy approaches him]
Sandy: That wasn't funny, SpongeBob. Y'all had me worried sick.
[Sandy leaves the scene and Scooter then approaches SpongeBob with sad look on his face]
Scooter: Dude. [He shakes his head]
[Scooter leaves and scene cuts to red-and-white-stripped tent while pants ripping is heard. The Scene zooms into the tent and then shows SpongeBob inside.]
SpongeBob: [thinking] Come on, SpongeBob, you're losing them! Think! Your public's waiting. [Takes a notebook and starts talking] Let's see... [Reads first note] "Lifting Weights - big laugh" [reads second note] "Frisbee in face - kills," [reads third note] "surfing - knocks 'em dead," [reads fourth and final note] "pretending to drown" [writes "no" next to it and reads it] "no" [circles it] Come on, think! [Taps his head with a pencil] I got it! [He leaves the tent and kneels.] Hey, everybody. [Stands up] Not ripped pants... [Rips his pants off] pants ripped off. [Showing pants ripped off around] Huh? Someone call the police. There's a pants thief on the loose. [SpongeBob sees no one. SpongeBob turns around to see Sandy and Larry playing volleyball] Oh, no! Everybody's gone, even Sandy. She'd rather hang out with Larry. Oh, no. No, no, no, [falls on a back] no, no, no, no. We blew it, pants. [Throws his pants]
Swimsuit: What do you mean, "We"?
[SpongeBob's swimsuit leaves the scene and SpongeBob continues to lay on the ground in his underwear]
SpongeBob: Oh, I didn't have to be a fool to get Sandy's attention. [starts waving with his hands] Am I the biggest loser on the beach?
[Millie approaches SpongeBob]
Millie: No, I am. [shows her skin glowing red] I forgot to put on sunscreen. [She touches her skin and removes her fin and a mark of her fin appears and an electric buzzing is heard.]
SpongeBob: [stands up and gets closer to her] Ouch.
[Dexter Blubbuns enters the scene]
Dexter: No, I am. I got sand in my buns. [shows groans of sand falling off his buns]
[ground starts shaking and a giant whale exits through the ground causing SpongeBob to end up at the top of him and other two fishes fall on the ground]
Frank: No, I'm the biggest loser on the beach. They buried me in the sand and forgot me.
[Millie and Dexter approach Frank and then all three asks SpongeBob the same question]
Millie, Dexter, and Frank: What happened to you?
SpongeBob: I lost my best friend.
Millie, Dexter, and Frank: How?
[SpongeBob takes a guitar made of sand and starts singing while playing on it]
SpongeBob: ♪When I ripped...♪ [rips his underwear] ♪my pants... I thought that I had everybody on my side, but I went and blew it all sky-high and now♪ [a curtain begins to descend behind him] ♪she won't even spare a passing glance♪ [a stage light starts shining into him] ♪all just because I...♪ [rips his underwear again] ♪ripped my pants.♪
[Millie with a tambourine, Dexter with a cello and Frank with a drum kit made of sand. They are all on a stage, also made of sand, singing while playing on their sand instruments]
Millie, Dexter, and Frank: ♪When big Larry came round, just to put him down, SpongeBob turned into a clown, and no girl♪ [shows the fish spinning his cello] ♪ever wants to dance with a fool who went and...♪ [shows Millie ripping her pants] ♪ripped his pants.♪
SpongeBob: ♪I know I shouldn't mope around, I shouldn't curse,♪ [crowd starts to gather in front of the stage] ♪but the pain feels so much worse, 'cause windin' up with no one is a lot less fun,♪ [looks at Millie] ♪than a burn from the sun♪
Millie, Dexter, and Frank: [the fish takes his buns out] ♪or sand in your buns.♪
[During the instrumental brake, the fish produces buns scratching, the whale produces a thump on a drum, and Millie produces clicking with her tambourine. Scene then shows crowd and the "four singers" with a live-action sea waves in the background]
SpongeBob: ♪Now I learned a lesson I won't soon forget, so listen and you won't regret♪ [shows SpongeBob only] ♪be true to yourself, don't miss your chance and you won't end up like the fool♪ [all four gather close to each other] ♪who ripped his pants.♪
[Song ends with SpongeBob ripping his underwear and other three ripping his pants loudly. Soon the crowd cheers in a whole arena made of sand. A giant blimp also made of sand, flies over top of the whole and has "SpongeBob" written on it. Flowers are falling on the four singers as Sandy is heard in the background]
Sandy: SpongeBob!
SpongeBob: Sandy!
[Sandy climbs on the stage and as she approaches SpongeBob, Sandy and SpongeBob hug each other]
Sandy: [holding SpongeBob's hand] Your song is true. If y'all want to be my friend, just be yourself.
[Larry then approaches SpongeBob and Sandy]
Larry: SpongeBob, [took him by the shoulder] that was so righteous. [takes a pencil out] Would you sign my pants?
SpongeBob: Absolutely, buddy.
[SpongeBob takes the pencil and Larry turns around SpongeBob can sign his pants. As soon as SpongeBob stoops, his underwear rips and falls off, leaving SpongeBob naked]
[episode ends with somebody whistling and SpongeBob embarrassed]
