Template:Status/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Status (see that page for the template itself).
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Installation:
1. Create a page named "Template:Status/<username>" ^{(replace <username> with your username)}, and copy this code to it ^{(replace <status> with either "online", "away", "offline", "private" or "on wikibreak.")}:

Format: {{Status|<status>}}
Example: {{Status|online}}

2. Finally add this code to your userpage, or wherever you want to use the template ^{(replace <username> with your username)}:

Format: {{Status/<username>}}
Example: {{Status/MilezTailzPrower}}

3. Whenever you want to change your status, edit page named "Template:Status/<username>" ^{(replace <username> with your username)}.

Additions:
You can customize your status by the following formula ^{(replace <alias> with your alias)}:

Format: {{Status|<status>|<alias>}}
Example: {{Status|online|Mark}}
