The bank robber,[1][2] also known as the identity thief,[3] is a character who appears in the episodes "Missing Identity" and "The Krabby Kronicle."
Description
He is a light green fish who wears a dark blue ski mask.

He is seen in SpongeBob's imagination. At the Krusty Krab, when SpongeBob loses his name tag he becomes scared and wonders who has it. He then thinks of the bank robber, robbing a bank, wearing SpongeBob's name tag, and shouting "Attica!" This thought immediately frightens him.

The bank robber is seen robbing a bank while SpongeBob is trying to find some interesting events to put in the newspaper.
Trivia
- The bank robber's quote "Attica!" references Al Pacino's character yelling the same in the film Dog Day Afternoon. This in turn is a reference to the Attica Prison riot of 1971.
