Template:Incomplete Template:Channel Channel 5 Broadcasting Limited (or Channel 5 for short) is a UK free-to-air broadcasting service owned by Paramount Global's UK and Australia division. So far as of 2015, Channel 5 has aired 'SpongeBob SquarePants' on weekends every morning.

Trivia

Even though SpongeBob regularly airs on weekends, it gets replaced sometimes. Throughout 2016-2019, the show was replaced by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the 2012 reboot and the Rise 2018 one). And a few times in 2022 and 2023, SpongeBob gets replaced by The Smurfs (2021 reboot) sometimes, and a repeat of the 2012 reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on June-August 2023.
As of 09 2025, Channel 5 is currently airing season 12, airing brand new episodes from "FarmerBob" on August 24, 2024.
