Patrick said he didn't have a sister in Something Smells.
But, then, in this episode, he said nobody knew he HAD a sister, so he could have forgotten until the events of this episode or she was born after the events of Something Smells.
It's weird how Sam can very easily come to visit Patrick because she got lost even though the explanation for that is obvious.
