Plot

SpongeBob's cousin BlackJack has just been released from jail. Now he wants to meet SpongeBob. But before he does, he goes and pays a visit to SpongeBob's parents and their grandma. SpongeBob thinks they're in trouble and goes of to warn them before its too late, so he seeks help from his uncle, Captain Blue SquarePants.

Trivia/Goofs

Comcast referred to this episode as "In Search of Ma and Pa Sponge." but was corrected in 2009.
Everytime SpongeBob tries to get Captain Blue's attention, he is mistaken and given a chore to do.
In SpongeBob's memories, it made it look like to the viewers that Blackjack was this huge monster, but at the very end, Blackjack is big enough to hit and punch SpongeBob's big toe. Either SpongeBob overreacted, Blackjack stayed his size while SpongeBob grew, or in jail, he magically shrunk.
When they showed the "346 minutes later" sign, they must've tried to make it sound long. However, 346 minutes is only 5 minutes and 46 seconds, which isn't very long.
