Blackened Sponge

Template:Episode "Blackened Sponge" is a SpongeBob SquarePants episode from season five. SpongeBob gives himself a black eye by accident and tells everybody that "Mr. Crazyfish" punched him. Later, Mr. Crazyfish shows up and SpongeBob tells the truth.

Plot

SpongeBob gives himself a black eye due to an attempt to open the toothpaste. He lies to Patrick, Sandy and the Krusty Krab customers describing that he deafted an outlaw. However, Crazyfish arrives at the Krusty Krab, which makes SpongeBob tell the truth and giving himself another black eye in the process.

Trivia/Goofs

• This is the second time in the series when SpongeBob gets mad at Squidward, the first time in "Best Day Ever".
• When SpongeBob was lieing to Sandy, you can see the anchor from SpongeBob's Krusty Krab uniform is missing when Jack was crying a river of tears through the town streets.
