The Spud Bucket.

At the start of the scene, after Plankton shows Karen his new tootsey-trampler to her, Plankton then hears a noise that comes from outside. A pickup truck with a grand mansion-like trailer appears. Plankton's parents came here to stay, after they won a huge lottery. They started their own restaurant similar to the Chum Bucket, the Spud Bucket. The customers from the Krusty Krab started to find out a new restaurant is serving potatoes. This in result for Mr. Krabs lose all customers from his restaurant. With that, Plankton finds an idea in order to shut down the Spud Bucket is to give him the secret formula. This was until Karen thought that world domination would be worthless.

The second idea came with the health inspector checking out the Spud Bucket. It failed again. Another one came with a customer that would eat potatoes from what customers are already having, which appears to be Patrick. Unfortunately, Plankton's parents thanked him that this customer was a taster master they'd ever seen. The fourth one came with Plankton trying to explode the load of potatoes coming from a truck. Unfortunately, the potatoes would later become potato fries, thus making Plankton's fourth plan a failure.

Since none of his plans work, Plankton then decided to work at the Spud Bucket. Suddenly after, the customers realizing the taste of the potatoes were made out of chum, thanks to Bubble Bass saying that Plankton was responsible for that horrible flavor. They get disgusted and had to go back to the Krusty Krab. With that, Plankton's parents realized that the Spud Bucket was a huge failure and had to shut it down by having their cousin destroy it with a TNT. Soon after Plankton's parents head out and buy a football team, Mr. Krabs tells Plankton that the secret formula works something after all, before the same cousin launch the TNT to them, thus ending the episode.

Trivia

General

  • The title card is very similar to that of "All That Glitters," only there is no shine and it's in wide screen. It also shares similarities with "Code Yellow" and "Sandy's Nutmare," just that it is darker.
  • This is the first episode to be copyrighted in 2024.
  • This episode, alongside "Squidiot Box," "PL-1413," "In the Mood to Feud," and "Kreepaway Kamp" serve as this season's 25th anniversary specials.
    • However, this episode and "Squidiot Box" seem to also serve as standalone episodes.
    • In its press listing, it is listed as a "sequel episode," likely to "Plankton's Army."
    • Coincidentally, this episode, "PL-1413," and "In the Mood to Feud" all star Plankton.
