Incidental 117, also known as the cop, is an incidental character who first appears in the episode "Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful." He is likely classified as a secondary character-type incidental.

Description

He is a dark orange fish with an oval-shaped midsection with peach lips, arms, and dorsal fin. He wears a police uniform which consists of a white and blue suit with a blue police hat and a big gold badge on the front of the suit.

Incidental 117 has made a few appearances throughout the series where he has always been portrayed as a police officer. He makes his biggest appearance in his debut, "Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful," as the police officer who constantly keeps giving Squidward tickets throughout the episode. His model number "117" originally belonged to a different incidental before it was later reassigned to him.

He gives Squidward many false tickets for "littering," which he did litter the first time by tossing the gum he found on the floor instead of finding a bin but the other "litters" are false reasons. He eventually gives Squilliam and SpongeBob tickets at the end as well for the same offense.

"The Monster Who Came to Bikini Bottom"

He and a ton of other police officers were ordered to escort Rrarrg out of Bikini Bottom.

"Sponge-Cano!"

After Steve jerks on the mayor, he and Policeman 2 come to get him away from the mayor.

"Drive Thru"

He gives Mr. Krabs what he believed to be a parking ticket for turning the whole town into a parking lot with his drive thru, but he later revealed it was actually his order, he then warns Mr. Krabs to watch out for the mayor.

"Oral Report"

He and Incidental 118 chase SpongeBob after runs a red light SpongeBob then crashes through various buildings. The police question if he knows about "boating safety" and SpongeBob goes through a long explanation of "boating safety." The police start crying and say it is beautiful. Mrs. Puff says that SpongeBob will have to go to jail and she will not have to teach him anymore. The police explain how she was the one who taught him and they take her to jail, much to her dismay.

"Fiasco!"

He is one of the three of Bikini Bottom's finest police officers that were assigned by Farfel Bainbridge to guard the Fiasco. He also chases Plankton with the Fiasco throughout the episode.

"Cave Dwelling Sponge"

He mistakenly arrests SpongeBob for vandalism because of Spongy Spongy's actions.

"Pat the Horse"

He pulls Mr. Krabs over when he sees that he and Squidward are impersonating a police officer.

• He and Incidentals 41, 42, 45, 46, 84, 85, 160, 200, 201, 202, and 203 are the only known regular incidentals whose model numbers originally belonged to a different incidental.
• He is the only regular incidental that is regularly portrayed to be a cop and not an alternate model of Incidental 118.
