Krusty Krab (AB0027) is a SpongeBob SquarePants Area-X set that was released in 2023. It is a large-scale accurate model of the Krusty Krab, including a full detailed interior with 4 different rooms.

Description

Set features

This set includes the main Krusty Krab building, as well as the Krusty Krab shell sign, the "Enter" sign, the dumpster, and a boatmobile. The interior can be accessed by sliding it out, which lifts up the roof, allowing for view of the entire interior. The interior includes the dining area, kitchen, bathroom, and Mr. Krabs' office. The set includes 7 minifigures, SpongeBob with his Krusty Krab employee hat, Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Plankton, and two Krusty Krab customers.

This set also includes lights, which can be turned on by pressing a button by the front door. The lights are only in the dining area. A brick separator and a sticker sheet are also included in the set.

Box/instruction features

The box comes with a yellow slipcover with artwork of SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Plankton, and jellyfish, and a window to the main box. The back of the slipcover shows an image of the set, three different scenarios, and all of the new minifigures. The main box has an illustration of the set with the company's tagline "Born to Play" and the set name "The Krusty Krab," which extends to the left and right sides. The back of the main box has both the Area-X and SpongeBob SquarePants logos in front of a yellow Krabby Patty pattern and an illustration of the clam shell Krusty Krab sign in the set.

Inside of the main box are two inner boxes featuring nighttime artwork of the Krusty Krab, labeled Type A and Type B. The instructions and bags are split into these two type boxes. The box also includes a "Welcome to the Krusty Krab" paper, which has a VIP card with artwork of SpongeBob on the back.

In the bathroom, the "Please Wash Your Fins" sign from "Krusty Krab Training Video" is seen.
Mr. Krabs' first dollar from "Wet Painters" appears in Mr. Krabs' office.
The Krusty Krab thermostat, set at 62° Fahrenheit from "Krabs à la Mode" is in the dining area.
Squidward's bill from "Squid on Strike" can be seen on the wall behind Squidward in his cashier boat.
The Skill Crane from "Skill Crane" makes an appearance in the dining area.
- Beary, the stuffed bear SpongeBob won in the episode also appears in the set.

Errors

The back of the main box misspells "minifigures" as "minifigers."
