— Incidental F4, "Culture Shock"
|
Incidental F4, also known as the barrel guy, is an "F" incidental who first appears in the episode "Culture Shock."
Description
He is an army green fish with olive green lips and long black hair combed to the side. He wears a dark blue jacket over a matching tuxedo that is over a pale blue dress shirt with a dark purple bow tie. He also wears black shoes.
He also has an alternate color palette that debuted in "Grooming Gary" where he is colored cyan with light pink lips and light yellow eyes. His bow tie is also colored lavender.
Barrel guy
He appears to have a slightly thinner body structure. His hair looks less neatly combed and he has stubble on his chin. He also wears a vest over his clothes as well.
Role in series
Incidental F4 has made not too many appearances like most "F" incidentals. He usually appears at fancy restaurants and establishments in the background alongside other "F" incidentals. He has made a few notable roles in the series, however.
Major roles
"Culture Shock"
He is seen being sent into the air during Pearl's performance. He is also the first member in the audience to be disturbed by Squidward's act in the show, yelling out "What the?!" He and Incidental F17 then toss tomatoes at Squidward from the Krusty Krab salad bar.
"Grooming Gary"
He enters his pet worm Mrs. Squiggles into the Bikini Bottom Pet Show where he is first seen styling her puffy orange wig. Later in Gary's pet riot, Mrs. Squiggles removes her wig and places it onto Incidental F4's head. This causes him to scream in terror while several other pet owners show shocked expressions from this action.
"Chum Fricassee"
He is one of the Chum Bucket customers who laugh at Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob.
"Married to Money"
He is one of the attendants of Mr. Krabs and Cashina's wedding at the Krusty Krab where SpongeBob steals his, Troutenheimer's, and Incidental 16's flowers from their suits to use for a bouquet for Cashina to toss.
"Drive Happy"
He is seen at the fancy hotel with Incidental F6 where they almost get run over by Coupe.
"Squidferatu"
Concept art of him shows that the barrel guy was originally going to be physically seen in the episode alongside the window lady, hiding inside a barrel, hence his name. It was stated that he was either cut from the final episode or it was because he just happened to be "very good at hiding."
"UpWard"
He is in the orchestra for Squidward's performance.
