The '''South Seas Orange-Throated Jelly''' is a rare type of [[jellyfish]] who appears in the comic ''[[Best Fiend]]''.

==Description==
It is a small pink jellyfish with four pink dots on it, an orange throat, a venom sac, and four stingers topped with more stingers. 

This jellyfish is extremely aggressive to any creature that is the size of a plankton, and when it detects a creature of said size, its tentacles will turn into arms with anchor tattoos on them, and the jelly will violently beat up the creature.

==Role in comic==
When {{Link|SpongeBob}} takes {{Link|Plankton}}, who is disguised as {{Link|Patrick}}, to [[Jellyfish Fields]] for some [[Jellyfishing (hobby)|jellyfishing]], they find a South Seas Orange-Throated Jelly. SpongeBob notes how it is moving in an attack pattern, but he reassures "Patrick" that only plankton-sized creatures are in danger.

The jellyfish notices how "Patrick" is plankton-sized, and proceeds to beat him up while SpongeBob comments on the various ways the jellyfish is beating up Plankton.
