The Dartfish family is a group of dartfish who first appear in The Patrick Star Show episode "Late for Breakfast."
Description
All four are small blue dartfish who live inside the Star family's walls. They have blue, shark-like fins on their head. They are generally kind fish and always move in a group.
Daddy Dartfish
Daddy Dartfish wears a red bowtie, a white long sleeved shirt and gray pants held up by a brown belt.
Mommy Dartfish
Mommy Dartfish wears a red dress with a collar and belt. She also wears white high heels.
Sister Dartfish
Sister Dartfish wears a yellow dress and brown belt.
Teensy Tom
Teensy Tom has freckles and wears an orange shirt and brown pants.
Role in series
"Late for Breakfast"
After Template:Data:Links misses breakfast, he looks under the table and sees the Dartfish Family eating their breakfast. Later in the episode, after his show, Patrick looks under the table again and sees them eating crumbs for dinner.
"Terror at 20,000 Leagues"
Squidina wakes up Patrick with a candy bar. When Patrick falls out of bed, he tries to get the candy, but the Dartfish Family pick it up and take it away before he can eat it.
"Nitwit Neighborhood News"
When Template:Data:Links gets stuck on top of the fridge and is too afraid to get down, they dress up as firefighters and try to help him down.
"Shrinking Stars"
The Dartfish Family offer the shrunken Star family a place to stay. They have cooked a single roasted peppermint, which they are willing to share, but Patrick tries to eat the entire thing whole. They explain that they survive by staying out of family arguments. However, when GrandPat tries to invade, the family scatters into the walls.
"Host-a-Palooza"
They appear as one of the guest hosts on The Patrick Show! while Patrick is injured. They try to do some sort of dance, but they accidentally throw Teensy Tom at the end.
"The Star Games"
Daddy Dartfish is the host of What's Going On?, a game show Patrick plays after waking up. He wins and Daddy Dartfish awards him a "Game Show Host in a Bottle" perfume that makes him look like a host. Daddy Dartfish then realizes that Patrick also wins his job, and gives it up, in tears. He later returns to announce Battle of the Game Show Hosts when Patrick's family turns against him.
"The Commode Episode"
When Patrick looks in a mousehole and calls for help, the Dartfish Family are too busy dancing to loud music too hear him. Later, Daddy Dartfish hears all the commotion in the bathroom and comes out himself, happy to join the party. When Patrick explains that he is trapped in the bathroom, Daddy Dartfish suggests he send a message in one of the bottles he has been juggling. He offers himself up to deliver the message, so Patrick puts him in the bottle and flushes him down the toilet. Daddy Dartfish returns inside Tinkle's mouth, having found the doorknob that Tinkle ate earlier. He gives it to Patrick, allowing everyone to leave the bathroom.
