Synopsis

The Dartfish family wake up.

The Dartfish family are sleeping, but they are soon sucked out of their beds due to Bunny vacuuming near the entrance to their home. The Dartfish are about to be sucked out of their home, but Bunny finishes vacuuming in time. After getting ready, the Dartfish leave their home and split around the Star house to look for food.

Teensy Tom goes into the kitchen to find Patrick making a sandwich. The fridge crushes Patrick after he places it on the sandwich, and Teensy Tom tries to help him. Patrick, not noticing him, thanks the kitchen cactus and finishes making his sandwich. One of the crumbs lands for Teensy Tom, but the fridge soon falls afterwards.

Cecil is working on his car in the garage as Daddy Dartfish notices a burrito out in the open. Cecil takes a bite of the burrito, as a bean falls out of it. He reaches for the burrito again, but accidentally grabs the buzzsaw. Daddy Dartfish notices a switch and flips it to turn off the buzzsaw before Cecil eats it. Cecil blames his burrito for almost eating the buzzsaw and throws it into the fire as Daddy Dartfish dismounts from the burrito wrap.

Sister Dartfish goes into the stage room and finds Squidina doing some cleaning for the show. A sprinkle falls out of Squidina's donut while she is cleaning, which Sister Dartfish finds, but she soon notices that Squidina is about to fall off the ladder, so she goes to save her. Squidina, while tied on the rope as she is saved from her fall, gets the idea for a new segment for the show. As Squidina falls off the rope, the sprinkle from the donut falls into a crevice.

The Dartfish family meet up after being unable to get any food, as Daddy Dartfish devises a plan to target GrandPat's beard. GrandPat falls asleep after eating a slice of cake, so the Dartfish attempt to sneak up on him. The Dartfish notice Slappy taking GrandPat's cake, so they wake him up, only for him to fall asleep again. The Dartfish use GrandPat's beard to start chasing after Slappy and the cake.

The Dartfish family are led to a room containing the other stuff that was stolen from the Star family, including Patrick himself. The Dartfish ask Slappy why he has stolen everything, to which he responds that he wants to complete his personal collection. Slappy proceeds to target the Dartfish family and he chases them down. The Dartfish first stop Slappy by using their heads to trip him, as Slappy afterwards grabs them and tries to put them in a bag, only for them to fall through.

Slappy stops chasing the Dartfish since he hears that The Patrick Show! is about to start, but the show is unable to start since Patrick and the set are gone. Daddy Dartfish signals Squidina to give a message to the audience, stating that the show can only be enjoyed by everyone if it is shared. Slappy realizes that the message was referring to him, as he returns everything that he stole. Slappy apologizes to Patrick, as Patrick and Squidina prepare for the show. Squidina thanks the Dartfish for their help, as the Dartfish receive leftovers from the cake that Patrick ate.

• Slappy's line, "I can't help it!", and his pose while saying it, reference Peter Lorre's character doing the same in the 1931 German film M.
