*The dub is recorded in São Paulo, a city who's dubbing studios are known for dubbing many pre-school cartoons and also animes into Brazilian Portuguese.
**SpongeBob's Brazilian voice actor, Wendel Bezerra, is the Brazilian voice of the character Goku from the anime series Dragon Ball, and also CEO (owner until 2023, when the studio was bought by Iyuno and co-owner until 2019, with his brother Ulisses Bezerra) of Unidub, the dub's current studio.
*Squidward's Brazilian name "Lula Molusco" means "Squid Mollusc" in Portuguese.
*Mr. Krabs' Brazilian surname "Siriguejo" is a joke with the words "Siri" and "Caranguejo" both words mean "Crab" in Portuguese.
*In recent Nickelodeon airings, the rest of season 11 and some episodes of season 12 are in PAL. This is because of the Brazilian feed merged along with the pan-regional and southern feeds merged with Nickelodeon Scandinavia as of October 17, 2023.
**In Netflix, season 6 is in PAL Pitch.
*As of 2022, unedited versions of "Procrastination" and "Karate Island" are currently re-airing on Nickelodeon Latin America.
**The unedited version of "Just One Bite" was dubbed, but during its original Brazilian airing on September 4, 2002 they decided to air the edited version instead, due to avoid of children imitating dangerous acts of playing fire matches and gasoline.
**The unedited version of "in RandomLand" was dubbed and aired on it's premiere in the country until November 2, 2023, when it was switched to the edited version, in response to the Global merger.
**In airings on TV Globo, "Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight" was replaced with the instrumental version of the CatDog theme song.
*To date, "Dunces and Dragons," "SpongeBob's Last Stand," and "Kreepaway Kamp" are the only episodes to be aired in Brazil on the same date as the United States.
**If counting "Abandon Twits" which premiered on its original US release date.
*SpongeBob, Sandy (if we didn't count their young versions in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run), Plankton and Mrs. Puff are the only main characters whose voice actors have never changed.
