- This episode and "Krusty Koncessionaires" tie into each other,[2] as this episode takes place directly after the last episode starting with SpongeBob coming home from the concert.

Errors
- The Dream Krabby Patty hides in a cone with reddish pink ice cream. But when SpongeBob and Patrick find him, the ice cream is cyan.
- Near the end of the episode, SpongeBob's night hat turns the exact same color as Squidward's for a frame.
- In the credits, Doug Lawrence is credited for voicing Plankton, despite his evil laugh not being voiced.
