Chumporium

Template:LTab Template:Location The Chumporium was a temporary replacement for the Chum Bucket. It appears in the episode "New Leaf". It only sold items and trinkets.

Description

The Chumporium looks exactly like the Chum Bucket, except that it has been turned into a gift shop. It has a large yellow poster covering the word "Chum Bucket" on the outside that reads the place's name in green capital letters. Underneath, in blue, it says "Grand Opening." The glass doors lead into the inside of the Chumporium.

Role in series

The owner is Template:Data:Links, who had been running the Chum Bucket for years. Its only known customer is Template:Data:Links, who bought a snow globe. Suspicious, Template:Data:Links confiscates SpongeBob's snow globe and throws it into his storage with Plankton's other past ideas used to get to the Krabby Patty formula.

Mr. Krabs, after throwing a party, notices Plankton walking out of the Chumporium with a seal plush-doll, becoming more suspicious. He looks through a window and is shocked at what he sees inside. Unconvinced, he gives Plankton a war. It may not have been a success, but Plankton had loved his gift shop and was heartbroken when Mr. Krabs went on a rampage.

Plankton tries to act as if he was not trying to capture the Krabby Patty secret formula but Mr. Krabs proves smarter. Plankton later tears down the store sign and brings back the Chum Bucket.

Trivia

Plankton covered the Chum Bucket with the yellow sheet with the Chumporium. Plankton mostly likely did this so he can just easily bring the Chum Bucket back when he was done with his plan although it didn't go as planned.
