Trivia

General

File:FaceOff-Model.jpeg
  • On July 8, 2023, storyboard artist Arielle Phillips posted a drawing of Patrick with a joke similar to the plot of this episode, both featuring the star in an "off-model" state.[1]
  • This episode was originally called "Face Off/Model."

Cultural references

  • The title is a parody of the 1997 movie Face/Off.
  • When Squidina and Patrick use the time closet to travel to the show's 5th season, they reach a world with all the characters in a style in a parody of Steven Universe. Patrick also mentions that the show has changed networks, referring to the Cartoon Network.
