Template:Under Construction Template:NC Template:OTab Template:Object The Alarm Clock[1] is an alarm clock that first appears in "Employee of the Month" and makes its most major role in the episode "Rise and Shine."
Description
It is usually depicted as a yellow alarm clock (although sometimes seen in other colors such as gray, blue, and purple) with a ringer that starts ringing the two small bells on top of it when it goes off, and a wind-up key to set the time. Its original design featured a more jagged octagon shape, the clock part having a blue color, and everything else being colored something yellow-like. A redesign introduced in "I ♥ Dancing" depicts it more round shaped and having more varieties of color (although the original design is still used occasionally). Some alarm clocks also seems to be sentient as shown in "Rise and Shine" and "Truth or Square," as they have the ability to move on their own.
Role in series
SpongeBob SquarePants
"Employee of the Month"
Template:Data:Links breaks into Template:Data:Links in order to reset his alarm clock so that Template:Data:Links can wake up late. As Squidward arrives in the bedroom, SpongeBob attempts hiding in the pillow before being caught after attempting to reset the alarm clock. SpongeBob then proceeds to break the alarm clock, with Squidward revealing he has a full closest of alarm clocks, which SpongeBob attempts to break. However, SpongeBob stops and proceeds to do other methods of making Squidward late.

"Rise and Shine"
Patrick hears the alarm clock scared and confused on where the sound is coming from. Patrick then sees the alarm clock and the lamp thinking that it ringed at him as a joke, before quickly getting annoyed as the noise would not stop. Patrick then gets angry and proceeds to destroy the lamp (thinking that it was the one making the noise). After realizing the lamp did not make the noise Patrick asks the alarm clock where the noise is coming from, with the alarm clock then proceeding to leave. This makes Patrick annoyed, so he asks the Pillow SpongeBob instead on where the ringing is coming from, which the alarm clock proceeds to ring its way towards there. However, the alarm clock gets crushed by the Pillow SpongeBob and Patrick thinks this means it is time for breakfast. As Patrick attempts to "save" the Canned Coral he accidentally hits the alarm clock with the can, causing it to stop ringing. Patrick then proceeds to unknowingly eat the alarm clock (as it was covered in the food), and it starts ringing again on his tongue. Patrick starts panicking that he is late and proceeds to swallow the alarm clock.
"Truth or Square"
