SpongeBob offers some biscuits to Slappy.

The episode begins with Sandy giving a speech to her Science Scouts in front of her whiteboard. She explains that if they earn enough money, they'll be able to go to Mars. With their biscuit boxes in hand, Squidina goes to Baby Prunes' house to sell her box, but Prunes isn't interested. She doesn't believe in science, only alchemy. Next, at Nosferatu's castle, SpongeBob knocks the door and asks the doorman Slappy if his master would like some biscuits, but he says Nosferatu doesn't eat solid foods. Finally, at Larry's gym, Pearl, seeing his workout, asks him if he would like some "energy bars." Larry accepts, and he gives Pearl some money in exchange for the biscuits.

Pearl goes around town knocking on doors and selling biscuit boxes all day, and by the time she comes home, she's exhausted. Just then, Mr. Krabs smells the money she brought home and crawls towards it. Pearl grabs it away. It's not for him, it's for the Science Scouts, she says. She adds that she earned it by selling biscuits, and that's when Mr. Krabs hatches an idea. The next day, the Science Scouts regroup, but SpongeBob isn't with them. He's now on Mr. Krabs' scout troop, and they're selling Krusty Doodles. Sandy crunches on one of his biscuits and it turns out he's just selling stale patty buns. Sandy and Mr. Krabs bicker back and forth and end up with a deal. Whoever sells fewer biscuits has to stop forever.

Squidina knocks on Bubble Bass' door with a biscuit box in hand. He's not interested at first, but when Squidina pitches them as mint biscuits in mint condition, he's all ears. Squidward tries to convince him on Krusty Doodles, but Bubble Bass isn't at all persuaded. Mr. Krabs grabs Squidward aside and tells him off on how he needs to be cuter. He puts an air pump in Squidward's eyes and inflates them. Meanwhile, Pearl is at Mrs. Puff's door, pitching her boxes. Squidward bumps himself in, but his eyes just leave Mrs. Puff concerned.

Mr. Krabs throws him aside, and puts up the charm, almost winning Mrs. Puff over before Pearl interrupts. All of the scouts go into a brawl just as Mrs. Puff sees a taxi. Inside, SpongeBob is trying to convince the driver to buy some biscuits. Just as he spices them up, the car bumps over a rock, and the driver is blinded by the biscuits. The taxi steers off the road and collides with the other scouts.

Mr. Krabs sells biscuit mush.

Later, everyone is in the hospital, with Mr. Krabs being the winner of the wager so far. The only place left is the old folks home, Krabs proudly states. Pearl immediately leaves and bikes her way over there, but Mr. Krabs catches up to her and dislodges her wagon. Just as he's about to reach Shady Shoals, he sees his breaks have been cut and veers off-course. Pearl walks the rest of the way and enters the retirement home, only to find out everyone there lost their dentures. She sees Mr. Krabs outside with everyone's teeth. He puts some of his Krusty Doodles in a blender and sells biscuit mush to the residents. Pearl walks away, saddened at her defeat.

That evening, Mr. Krabs is putting his money all over his face. Pearl comes in, still distraught. She cries so hard that she floods the entire house. After draining the water, Mr. Krabs gives in and buys all of her biscuits. Afterwards, the Science Scouts successfully land on Mars, only to meet an alien scout who wants to earn the money to go to Earth. Sandy immediately closes the spaceship door and tells everyone if they earn enough money, they can go to Jupiter.

Background design

• Art direction by Ann Lee and Lucy Tanashian-Gentry, both filling the role when the show, at the time, did not have an art director, due to Peter Bennett’s passing on May 17, 2024. Layouts designed by George Nachev, traditionally painted by Amy Lewis in gouache, with adjustments made by Lee for the final painting of the toothless senior citizens. Scanned in with lines drawn digitally on top.

• This episode marks the return of the Science Scouts, Sandy's scout troop that previously debuted in season 11's "Goons on the Moon."
• This is the first episode of the main series to premiere on a Friday in the United States since season 13's "Delivery to Monster Island" on April 7, 2023, over a year and eight months ago due to an AfterToons block being created in April 2023 which premiered new episodes every weekday except Fridays.
  • "Snow Yellow" was originally going to premiere on October 25, 2024, which was a Friday, but it was pushed to November 11, which was a Monday.
  • This episode also premiered in the United States on Friday the 13th.
    • Not counting The Tidal Zone event, this is also the first episode to premiere on a Friday the 13th since "Food PBFFT! Truck"/"Upturn Girls," which premiered 2 years and 7 months prior at the time of this episode premiering.
• This episode was paired with a rerun of "The Sandman Cometh" during the original American airing but has since been reairing with "Student Driver Survivor."
• Squidina's main series appearance has been redesigned in this episode to be in line with The Patrick Star Show.
