Template:OTab Template:Object Bold and Brash is a painting made by Template:Data:Links, hoping to impress an art critic. It first appears in the episode "Artist Unknown."
Description
The painting has a yellow background. A naked caricature of Squidward is the center of the piece, but with only four limbs instead of six. Also, this caricature has no mouth. The color of the caricature is green.
Role in series
"Artist Unknown"
At the Adult Learning Center, Squidward gets a job as an art teacher. The art collector, Monty P. Moneybags, arrives, and one of the pieces that Squidward shows him is Bold and Brash. Mocking Squidward, Monty remarks, "More like, belongs in the trash!" so the Janitor throws it in the garbage.
Later, after Squidward motivates Template:Data:Links to get back to making art, SpongeBob finds Bold and Brash in a pile of garbage at The Dump.
"Goons on the Moon"
When Sandy's rocket is passing through the asteroid belt on the way to the moon, Bold and Brash is one of the various items seen floating in space.
"Pat Hearts Squid"
When Squidward stretches Template:Data:Links's face, he briefly makes it look like Bold and Brash.
"Lighthouse Louie"
Bold and Brash is one of many objects that SpongeBob finds in Mrs. Puff's lighthouse.
"Dream Hoppers"
The squid in the painting appears chasing SpongeBob and Patrick during Squidward's dream.
Snail Park
Bold and Brash appears as an item in the Prop Shop. It is on a canvas with a golden frame. The player is able to select it from the props menu and add it to the park for their snails to look at. When the player clicks it, it gets covered with splashes of blue and green paint.
