• This episode marks the seventh instance of Plankton going inside SpongeBob. The first is "Plankton!," the second is "The Inside Job," the third is The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, the fourth is "House Worming," the fifth is "The Krusty Slammer," and the sixth is "Parasite Pals." The plot is also similar to "The Inside Job" as the sequel.
