Trivia
- Calamardo (Squidward's Spanish name) is based off from "calamari".
- Whenever there is text on the screen, a voice-over reads it in Spanish. This is becasue the text is always in English, due to the fact that the show is originally American, and the producers didn't want to bother re-animating the scenes with the text to make it in Spanish.
Template:Other Not necessarily... The thing is, the Spanish word for "Squid" is "Calamar". That's what his name is based off of. It's a silly name made from the Spanish word for Squid... not the word we use in English.
