Character

Incidental C17, also known as Bubbles McGuppy[1] is a character who appears in the episodes "Don't Feed the Clowns" and "Big Top Flop."

Description

In "Don't Feed the Clowns," he is a small turquoise clown with a red nose and orange-green striped pants. He has teal fins, lips and backfin with three blue spots on his head. He has a white face and light yellow eyes with tick black eyebrows. He wears a red bowtie along with red and brown shoes.

In "Big Top Flop," he has a cyan body with teal backfin and three spots on his head. His lips are pink and he wears orange-yellow pants.

Role in series

"Don't Feed the Clowns"

He appears as a wild clown along with other clowns at the slapstick plains where he rides a red balloon dog while honking with a clown horn. When the little clown wants to join the other clowns, Incidental C17 smells his butt and plays with him and Incidental C11. Then he runs away as Incidental C11 wants to throw him a pie.

"Big Top Flop"

He appears as part of Ringmaster Mudkrab's circus troupe. He is seen within a trailer alongside fellow circus performers as Mudkrab shares his plans with them. Then, Mr. Krabs shuts the door on them to sabotage the show.

Later, he reappears with the other circus performers, cheering on Mr. Krabs and Mudkrab as they shot themselves to each other using cannons and merged together.

Trivia

  • In a production art for "Don't Feed the Clowns" shows that in the original design of Incidental C17 he had a small tail that ended up not being used in the show
  • In "Don't Feed the Clowns" he appears at the slapstick plains as a wild clown, but he later seen in Ringmaster Mudkrab's crew in "Big Top Flop." So it is possible that Mudkrab may have gotten him into his circus from this location, just as the ringmaster did with his own clowns.
