Synopsis
The campers are shown boarding a bus for Kamp Koral's field trip to colonial Bottomsburg. Mrs. Puff and Mr. Krabs check to make sure that everyone is on the bus. Patrick thinks that SpongeBob is with him, even though it is actually just a box of Kelpo. SpongeBob, meanwhile, is still inside his cabin, having overslept, and misses the bus for the field trip as a result. Left alone at the camp, SpongeBob is sad at first, but then tries to make the most of his time there.
SpongeBob tries to make fun for himself, including making an announcement on the loudspeaker and playing baseball, but soon realizes that it is no fun not having anyone else around. Gary is revealed to be inside the forest, and SpongeBob asks him to join him in his time alone. SpongeBob and Gary do various activities together, including jellyfishing, painting, and playing baseball. Several wild animals soon appear, to which SpongeBob invites them all to join him and Gary.
SpongeBob does a check-in with the animals, but is soon forced to hide after a jellyfish chases him down. The animals continue their activities with each other at the camp as SpongeBob checks on them. SpongeBob soon gathers them at the Clamphitheater for a laughing lesson, with the lunch alarm going off shortly after. At the lunch area, Plankton, who is still there, serves food for the animals.
The animals get into a fight while having lunch and soon wreak havoc around the camp. SpongeBob hides inside his cabin while trying to figure out how to solve the trouble. Inside, Gary steals Squidward's clarinet and gives SpongeBob the idea to calm the animals with music. This proves to be successful, as it tires the animals out.
The animals head to various cabins, as the rest of the campers return from their field trip. The campers try to go inside their cabins, but find out about the animals inside. They all head to a campfire inside the forest, as SpongeBob sleeps with Gary and a sea bear, while a sea bunny grabs the iris-out.
