Synopsis
The episode starts off as a sunny day in Ukulele Bottom as Patrick and SpongeBob walk across the streets around town. SpongeBob explains how he thinks the world is their oyster, listing all of the fun things they can do - deciding on the Shady Shoals Rest Home. SpongeBob prepares to give Incidental 85 (one of the Shoals' residents) a bouquet of flowers and an envelope, but Patrick says that they've got no time for that, throwing them into the dump and leaving Incidental 85 depressed. Patrick then exclaims that he's hungry, and SpongeBob suggests the Krusty Krab, but Incidental 171's balloon blocks their view, so Patrick suggests the Chum Bucket, as they're always advertising on his show. After Plankton presents a commercial to the two, the duo decide to visit the restaurant. Template:Section-expand

- This episode was originally titled "The Chum Bucket List," and it's working title was "PatrickShowCHUMBUCKETLIST."[1]
- This episode's title is a pun on the phrase "the bucket list," which is term that refers to a list of things where someone tries to make achievements in their life.
- Ironically, Plankton hasn't made any sort of real achievements at the Chum Bucket (as least at this point in the series.)
- The "chum" in the title may be referring to SpongeBob and Patrick as the 'chums' themselves, since the official synopsis seems to not mention the Chum Bucket as a pivotal plot point.
