The elephant fish is a giant fish who appears in the episode "Prehibernation Week" and the book Tales from Bikini Bottom.
Description
It is a big, dark green, elephant-like fish with a long trunk and three eyes. It has fin-like ears and round teeth.
Role in episode
When Sandy orders the Bikini Bottomites to go look for SpongeBob, she tells the other people to check inside a moist cave she found. The cave is revealed to be the trunk of the elephant fish.
