The elephant fish is a giant fish who appears in the episode "Prehibernation Week," the book Tales from Bikini Bottom, and the episode "Squidiot Box."

Description

It is a big, dark green, elephant-like fish with a long trunk and three eyes. It has fin-like ears, four limbs and round teeth.

Role in series

"Prehibernation Week"/Tales from Bikini Bottom

When Template:Data:Links orders the Bikini Bottomites to go look for Template:Data:Links, she tells the other people to check inside a moist cave she found. The cave is revealed to be the trunk of the elephant fish.

"Squidiot Box"

Template:Data:Links warns Template:Data:Links not to imagine a stampede of sea elephants. After saying this, sea elephants appear and start charging towards Squidward, but he manages to escape on a hot air balloon that SpongeBob had thought of.
