Pirates
The pirates are a group of pirates who play a minor role in the episode "Dying for Pie." They make exploding pies and are led by Captain Cruel.
Description
The pirates have hooks. Some also have eye patches or bandanas. The one at the top of the ship has an orange beard, a pirate captain hat, and a golden sword.
Role in series
"Dying for Pie"
While looking for a gift SpongeBob for Employee Brotherhood Day, Squidward buys one of the pies for $25 when it is really a bomb. Some try to tell Squidward that they are bombs, much to his disappointment. However the captain then lies by saying it is a pie so he can make a quick buck.
"Sailor Mouth"
Captain Cruel and one other pirate are shown eating at the Krusty Krab, shocked over SpongeBob's use of foul language.
"All That Glitters"
One of the pirates challenges SpongeBob to a hook fight, which the latter competes in using his spatula.
"Boss for a Day"
They fight Mr. Krabs in the Krusty Krab.

They appear as enemies in the "Save Me Money!" level.
