THQ Nordic

THQ Nordic (formerly known as Nordic Games) is an Austrian video game developer and publisher founded in 2011. The company renamed itself to "THQ Nordic" in August 2016 after its parent company acquired the "THQ" trademark from the now defunct and separate company, THQ.
On March 21, 2018, Nickelodeon and THQ Nordic announced a partnership to revive Nickelodeon licensed console games for newer consoles and high-definition remasters, including SpongeBob SquarePants games.
On June 5, 2019, THQ Nordic announced that they were making a remake of Battle for Bikini Bottom called Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated.
