Season 1 Rated Worst to Best

I was a Teenage Gary: This episode was bland, boring, not so scary, and kinda failed to impersonate cheap old horror films.
Fools in April: I hate how much in the wrong it puts Squidward in. And a lot of the visual gags here are just too Ren and Stimpy like, too soon.
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II: This one reminds me of the Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy introduction episode. They both have similar structure. Just this one was less eventful, tho.
Suds: Very ugly for season 1. that would be more interesting if they actually did more with Spongebob being sick. There are some good jokes, but overall, not that re-watchable.
Pickles: It's episodes like this that make me realize that at some point, we're all Bubble Bass.
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy: It looks like a trend for episodes like this one to not be as much exciting the first episodes to go along with the great characters.
Valentine's Day: This episode is just the first episode to show what fantastic friends Patrick and Spongebob are, and just a great duo. I also enjoyed the Patrick rampage scene.
Hooky: Learning from Spongebob episodes isn't common to me. But I could tell this episode had many morals.
Squidward the Unfriendly Ghost: Honestly a really good episode title.
Employee of the Month: I honestly enjoyed the references.
Neptune's Spatula: The second time we get to see the live action Tom Kenny in the shower, better than the first time. There are some really funny joke here, too.
Boating School: Another weak character introduction. But give it the huge credit, for it is the very first time we hear Fred shouting "My Leg!"
Opposite Day: I Am SqUiDwArD
Squeaky Boots: Honestly, gets far too disturbing.
Texas: The f**king birth of my ringtone back then.
Nature Pants: I'd give myself 11 minutes.
Jellyfishing: The only good parts for me was the montage.....

and "FIRMLY GRASP IT!"

Sandy's Rocket:
Home Sweet Pineapple: Good video meme potential.
Jellyfish Jam: Good video meme potential.
Karate Choppers: That hot sauce scene, tho.
Hall Monitor: This episode's second half was really enjoyable.
MuscleBob Buffpants: This episode predicted Rampage.
F.U.N.: Best Plankton and Spongebob relationship episode.
Naughty Nautical Neighbors:
Bubblestand: a really nice bubble-centered episode, honestly.
Tea at the Treedome: This episode taught me one huge lesson: "When in doubt, Pinkie out.
Ripped Pants: The older Mimic Madness.
Plankton!: A really good character introduction. It introduces the main character aspects of Plankton, and has a simply interesting plot writtento it. Plus, the jokes landed some.
Walking Small: This was another great Plankton episode.
Scaredy Pants: I'd like to cosplay as the haunted matress one day.
Reef Blower: Holds it's own place as the only (or very first) episode with no dialogue.
The Paper: Spongebob did some pretty fun things with that one piece of paper. But be warned, you may never wanna see him make a dolphin face ever again.
The Chaperone: Why couldn't I have a 5th grade prom like this one?
SB-129: Another meme giving episode.
Rock Bottom: It's honestly unfair to Spongebob, but in a way you can at least laugh at.
Arrgh!: It was interesting to see the entire Spongebob, Mr. Krabs, and Patrick trio follow through on an adventure based off a monopoly styled cardboard game.
Culture Shock: I honestly loved Exotique A in this episode. Plus that interpretive dance.
Help Wanted: One of the best first episodes of any season.
Sleepy-Time: Fantastic concept, as well as one of the best episodes to have all the main characters.
Pizza Delivery: This episode had a fantastic concept, that being Squidward and Spongebob being together for the rest of the episode. Also VERY funny moments, as well as Squidward actually standing up for Spongebob for the first time.
