Baleen Baby

Template:OTab Template:Object Baleen Baby is a brand of baby food that appears in the episode "Pablum Plankton."

Description

It is a brown jar with red text at the top and bottom reading "Baleen Baby." Depending on the version, it either has a picture of baby Template:Data:Links in the center or a picture of a white fish. It has a light blue lid.

Role in episode

An advertisement is shown of a whale trying to feed his child Baleen Baby food. He refuses to try it at first, but loves it after he accidentally swallows some of it.

After the advertisement, Plankton is announced as the winner of the cutest baby contest. This leads to him becoming very popular around Bikini Bottom and getting recognized at Barg'N-Mart. The company sets up many advertisements of baby Plankton around town, including blimps, billboards, and posters, much to his horror. Plankton and Template:Data:Links attempt to get rid of all the advertisements around town by destroying them or painting over them. They then buy up the entire supply of Baleen Baby food and bury it in the desert.

Soon after, a large group of baby whales surround them, and SpongeBob finds out Baleen Baby food is made up of 100% plankton. The pair run into town with all the baby whales in the vicinity chasing after them. SpongeBob hears the song of the baby whales and turns into a whale himself. Plankton makes it inside the Chum Bucket, where he falls into a big vat of chum. One of the baby whales pulls him out and tries to eat him, but spits him out out of disgust.

Outside of the Chum Bucket, an interviewing team approaches Plankton and gives him a one jillion dollar check for being the winner of the cutest baby contest. However, after learning how disgusting Plankton was to the baby whales, the reporter rips up the check and goes with the second cutest baby, Template:Data:Links.
