Characters

Synopsis

One morning, SpongeBob is excited to play volleyball against Sandy. However, she smacks the ball very hard, leading SpongeBob to get badly bruised. Mrs. Puff is horrified by his injuries, but Krabs remains apathetic, simply giving him a prescription to "walk it off." He reacts the same way when SpongeBob gets sliced apart by the net, and Patrick gets a jellyfishing net stuck on his head. Later, SpongeBob and Patrick go down the Kelp Luge, smashing into Larry and crash landing in a dumpster. Krabs shows up and tells them to "walk it off."

Krabs and Mrs. Puff have lunch, only for SpongeBob to show up with one of his legs detached. He reattaches it and sends him away. Upset by Krabs' uncaring attitude towards campers' injuries, Mrs. Puff calls in a camp nurse. Just then, Nurse Helga arrives on a motorcycle. Krabs is skeptical, but she immediately treats Mo after she trips. Krabs agrees to hire her, and shows her to the nurse's cabin, which is dilapidated and dark.

Helga tells SpongeBob what first aid is.

After its renovation, Perch Perkins announces that the first aid cabin is open. SpongeBob introduces himself to the nurse, believing that "first aid" is a drink. When Helga explains what first aid is, SpongeBob asks for a bandage for his collection. After accidentally injuring himself in the trash compactor, SpongeBob shows up with his body scrambled. Helga treats him and orders that he go away. Later, SpongeBob shows up with sea urchins stuck on his back. Helga treats him again, and he says that he survives his injuries because of Krabs always telling him to "walk it off." After SpongeBob leaves, Helga decides to follow him around and prevent injury.

First, SpongeBob wants to ride a unicycle across a tightrope. Helga ties a rope to herself to keep him safe. However, when he falls off, he pulls Helga with him, causing the two to smash into each other. When SpongeBob is going to play baseball, he throws bats away, nearly hitting Helga. She wraps him in bubble wrap, preventing him from playing. Patrick pops the bubble wrap, distracting them both. Sandy throws the ball, and it bounces off of SpongeBob, getting electrified by a jellyfish before launching back and knocking Helga unconscious.

To prevent them both from further injury, Helga takes SpongeBob to the first aid cabin and to play a game of chess. After SpongeBob makes his starting move, Helga's rack of medical equipment collapses and crushes her. Next, she takes him to meditate at Porpoise Peak and recite a mantra: "No fun." His chanting causes soundwaves that disrupt the wildlife and cause rocks to fall, crushing Helga.

In a full-body cast, Helga wakes up in the nurse's office, which is now completely coated in sponge. SpongeBob has been taking parts of his body to reinforce the cabin. She worried that SpongeBob is hurting himself, but he shows that he can easily regenerate his body. He begins bouncing around the room, letting them have fun without getting hurt. Helga hesitates, but begins jumping around with them. Krabs enters the room, injured from Sandy's volleyball toss. Helga simply tells him to "walk it off" and continues jumping with SpongeBob.
