Gourd of Horror! is the first comic strip of the comic book SpongeBob Comics No. 25.

Synopsis
SpongeBob places his Jack-O-Lantern out and asked Patrick if he is going to carve his pumpkin, but Patrick asks, "what's a pumpkin?" Squidward places his Jack-O-Lantern out, calling it "Self-Portrait." Days later, when Squidward disposes of his Jack-O-Lantern, he tells SpongeBob that he better properly dispose of his. SpongeBob goes to do this, but can't bring himself to dispose of it. He leaves his Jack-O-Lantern out. Days pass, and it withers and starts to smell. Squidward tells SpongeBob to get rid of it. SpongeBob intends on doing so the next day. However, when get gets up the next day, Gourdy, as he called him, is no where to be found. Squidward is doing yard work, when suddenly Gourdy attacks them and then proceeds to ruin Squidward's flowers and then spitting seeds and throwing pulp. Patrick arrives and asked what all the "hubba" is and they explain their situation. Patrick attacks Gourdy, and turns him into a pumpkin pie. SpongeBob and Patrick walk away with the pie.
