Synopsis

SpongeBob is woken up by the hiccups and must find a way to get rid of them. He first asks Squidward for help, who tells him that dusting his living room shelves would work.

SpongeBob apologizes to an annoyed Squidward that the idea did not work, and proceeds to ask Patrick, who tells him that the best way to get rid of the hiccups is to balance on his tongue.

Once this does not work either, SpongeBob asks Sandy, who says she has a cure for the hiccups.

Once he confuses laundry detergent for the cure, he goes and leaves for the Krusty Krab, upset he has to go to work with the hiccups. He soon enters into a group of annoyed customers and Mr. Krabs asking where he was. SpongeBob explains his story and then says the two must go to Hiccup Island to cure the hiccups.

Once on the way, the two meet the Flying Dutchman, who he asks SpongeBob to hiccup in front of him. SpongeBob attempts to do this but cannot, and Mr. Krabs explains to him that he is finally cured before making it to Hiccup Island. As SpongeBob leaves, it was revealed Hiccup Island was a decoy set up by Mr. Krabs and the Dutchman to scare visitors' hiccups away.

The comic ends with Mr. Krabs getting the hiccups instead.
